Macy can’t get rid of Yusef’s words from her mind even after she arrives at the hotel.

Manson Zach has been waiting for her for a long time. He grins, “It has been such a long time since we met last time, Miss Downey!”

Macy resists her nausea and squeezes a smile, “Good evening, Mr. Zach.”

“It’s such a precious opportunity for me to have dinner with you.”

While he is speaking, he reaches out his arm to hold Macy’s shoulder and pulls her closer towards him.

Macy didn’t expect him to be so bold and dare to put his hands on her body. Her smile freezes.

At the point where Macy is struggling to push this man away, she lifts her head and sees Eliot Penn.

Eliot is holding a scantily clad woman. She seems to be the lady Macy met at the apartment that night.

Macy couldn’t see that woman clearly that night but now she can. That woman is the famous actress, Sue Caine.

Eliot never thought about meeting Macy here. He is shocked until he sees Manson’s hands around her shoulders.

He then understands the situation and conveys his sneer through his eyes. Eliot even mocks soundly, “Macy Downey, what a surprise. You just cut off all the relations with me and reach out to another man so quickly.”

Being with Manson Zach, she doesn’t want to spend time talking to Eliot and directly ignores him. Macy turns to Manson and smiles, “Mr. Zach, shall we find somewhere for our dinner first?”

Macy has natural beauty, especially now when she is being gentle and quiet. Only few men can resist her charm, let alone a womanizer like Manson Zach.

Manson’s mind has been occupied by the physical attraction from Macy. He naturally ignores the person in front of Macy, “No problem! You should have told me that you were hungry Miss Downey. I have reserved a table here. Let’s go and I will let the manager serve our dishes!”

At the time when Eliot and Macy are about to pass by each other. Eliot wants to stop Macy but Sue wraps her arm around Eliot’s shoulder, “Eliot, what’s the matter? Miss Downey has her important task to work on. Let’s give her some time.”

Eliot’s face gets darker, and he glares at the woman next to him.

Sue continues her coquetry carelessly, “Eliot, stop worrying. Look, Miss Downey is alright! She is probably Manson Zach’s new girlfriend. They acted so intimate like a couple who have known each other for a quite a while.”

Before Sue can finish her words, Eliot’s anger has already burst and he slaps Sue’s face!

The crispy sound of slapping is so aloud that everyone in the hall can hear it.

Sue’s feels the fiery burning on her face. Her neck is then squeezed by this man in front of her before she can say anything, “Cut it off! You are just a no-name actress who slept with me. You can’t even survive in this industry without my investment.”

Eliot’s face gets even darker, which makes him look like another person rather than the noble and gentle image he has most of time. Sue is startled and scared. She explains in her shaky voice, “No, Eliot, I have no means to insult anyone!”

“Then you tell me, what did you mean?” Eliot glares at Sue as if he wanted to kill her, “Let me tell you, Macy Downey is just something that I don’t want any more but it’s not your turn to judge her. Understand?”

“I, I understand…”
