The Alphas Princess novel Chapter 29

Isras POV

I blinked clearing open my eyes to a small pup curled under my arm and my mate sprawled out beside me. It's been a few weeks since her birth and she hadn't yet shifted. "She will shift when she is ready." Cerberus growled to me. I huffed and rolled out of bed. It's been a few weeks since our pack was restored to good. However Cerberus forbid anyone from actually seeing Tari. No one in the pack even felt comfortable as his being the alpha. I want my old pack life back. We had more unity and Tari's birth should have strengthened the bond but no one has seen her. I continued into the bathroom to get ready for my day. I sat at my large vanity. That Anastasia insisted Blake have installed for me. I looked at my reflection in the gargantuan mirror the image started to sway until an image of my mother was looking at me. "Hello my Princess Luna" a calming voice chimed to me. My reflection returned as She appeared behind me with a reassuring hand on my shoulder. My eyes turned back to the mirror I took in the now silver iris of my eyes and let out a sigh as tears leaked from them. "You let me go after all those centuries. Why?" I asked turning to meet her gaze. "Motherhood befits you." She gave a soft laugh as she stroked my cheek. I snatched her arm away "WHY SELENE?" I snarled at her and my mirrors shattered from the sound. I held my gaze to hers until I saw hers go black. "No one speaks to a goddess this way, But certainly never will my daughter speak to me in that tone." Her voice rose. I wanted to scream but I could no longer utter a sound. Cerberus bursted through the door with a sleeping Tari tucked under his arm. "Why can't I hear my mate?" He growled at her. My mother eyes him curiously for a moment before noticing my daughter. "Hello Nefertari Serenity." She cooed. Tari was instantly wiggling around in Cerberus' hold. Mother reached out to hold her. Tari recognized the family bond to her. "You silenced my mate because...?" Cerberus leaned back on the door frame red eyes challenging her. "Athena would never allow you to speak back to her either." She huffed and gave a wave of her hand over me. "Mother" I gasped. "We will have to talk later even us Gods are busy." She nuzzled Tari. "Yes I'm gonna miss you my little time skipper." She handed her to me and vanished. "Your mother is not my favorite." He growled

Cerberus POV

I sat Tari down and she leaned against my foot confused from all the sudden energy flowing around her. "Shouldn't you be concerned the pack is still in fear of you, they haven't met the new heiress, and Tari hasn't shifted a human body yet?" She said getting into my face. Tari gave an upset yip. I mind linked my Beta to come get my daughter. Luke rushed in bowing and sweeping up a fussy Tari in his arms. "Alpha, Luna I'll have Sable see to her." He bowed and walked away. Once he was out of our room I slammed my mate on to the sink and leaned in to her. "Whom are you speaking to baby?" I asked as my lips moved along her mark. She gave a moan and I slid my tongue across the marks left by my fangs. "Luna." I said pulling away biting my lip. Her eyes were flashing from green to silver. "Who?" I growled growing impatient. "I'm sorry king. Forgive me please mate." She whined. I nodded my head at her. "I can please both my girls." I smiled shifting. She was shaking uncontrollably giving into her shift. My three heads had eyes trained on her as her paws touched the ground. I made a silent thank you for the size of this room being able to hold my large form as I lunged at her.
