CHAPTER 26

Atif gets confused about what is true about Aliyah's civil status.

Atif had this question in mind.

"Is she really married or single still?"

So to know what the truth is and what is a lie, Atif decided to continue to chat Aliyah using his fake account with the name Almir.

At first Atif purpose on making fake account is just he wanted to see the photo of Aliyah to compare if Aliya and Haya have similar physical appearance?

Yes, but later he got curious on what Aliyah said that she is single. The fact that she said before that she is married and has kids.

Atif decided to reply again to Aliyah's message.

"Yeah. I saw your cover photo and honestly you don't look like a mother. Maybe you are not." Atif replied.

"Maybe I'm not? So you don't believe what I said?" Aliyah asked.

"Honestly No. I don't." Atif answered.

"Hahaha. But why?" Aliyah asked.

When Atif reads the reply of Aliyah he wants to say these words to her but he can't of course for Aliyah not to know that he is Atif using a fake account: "How would I believe in you when you said before that you are married."

He wants to say that but he can’t. So Atif just type this message;

"Because I have this feeling that you are just telling a lie to me." Atif said.

"So if you don't believe me that is your problem." Aliyah answered.

Atif didn't expect this kind of reply from Aliyah. Because what he knew about Aliyah is always polite, modest and kind when replying to his message.

But now Atif can't believe that Aliyah behaves like she is just playing games by telling lies to him.

"Please quit playing games. Just tell me the truth." Atif replied.

"I am telling you right? But you don't believe in me. And now you accuse me that I just play games while I'm not." Aliyah replied on Atif chat.

"Because you are." Atif answered.

"Who are you to accuse me like that? Do we know each other? “Aliyah replied.

“I just know that you're not telling the truth." Atif said.

"How did you know?" Aliyah asked.

Atif doesn't know what to say that's why he didn't answer the question of Aliyah. Instead he sent this message.

"Prove me wrong so I will believe in you." Atif dare Aliyah.

"And why will I do that? It’s your problem that you don’t believe what I've said so don't oblige me to give some proof for you to believe me." Aliyah replied.

Atif slightly annoyed at Aliyah's reply.

So Atif send this message;

“Do you know Atif?" Atif asked.

“Yes, I knew someone whose name is Atif. But I don’t know if he is the “ATIF “you’re talking about." Aliyah said.

"Are you friends?” Atif asked.

"That was before but not anymore." Aliyah answered.

Atif take a deep breathe when he read the message of Aliyah.

Atif gets this conclusion in his mind that he is not really important to Aliyah. That when she totally ends their communication, she also forgets their friendship.

"So I am the only one standing, and stranded in the same ground because I can't forget the memories of our friendship." Atif mumbled.

What Aliyah said totally hurt Atif's feeling.

But Atif still replied to Aliyah.

"And why are you not friends anymore? “Atif asked.

"Honestly I got emotionally attached to him because he is kind to me. Atif seems like really cares as a real friend even though he and I are just friends on social media. Then later I slowly fell for Atif. I don't want to fall in love again. I don't want to get hurt anymore. I know he can't stay. I know one day he will stop the communication that he and I have. Especially when he get a girlfriend there in his country. So when I noticed that Atif start making excuses to avoid me I decided to stop the communication between Atif and me before he will be the one to do it. I am the one who stop it first so he don’t have to make excuses." Aliyah explained.

Atif was so surprised at what Aliyah said.

He noticed the anger in Aliyah’s message.

“Is she angry with me? I’m never make any excuses just to avoid her.” Atif mumbled.

Atif continues to pretend as Almir for two reasons: First just to know if what Aliyah’s reasons are true; second is to know if she is really angry with him.

Atif sent another message.

"But why do you need to fall in love with him? According to Atif you have a husband. You have kids? Is that true?" Atif asked.

"No, I just lie to him." Aliyah replied.

"What?! But why do you do that?" Atif asked.

He can't believe that Aliyah just lied to him before.

Atif just gets so confused on what Aliyah is revealing to him this time.

2:00 am in Bosnia and Herzegovina

9:00 am in Asia

It's already dawn but Atif chooses to continue their chatting than to end it.

Because he wants to know the truth.

He still waits for the reply of Aliyah.

Atif receive the reply of Aliyah to his message.

He immediately open her message and read;

"I just want it that way to introduce myself to a stranger. It never cross on my mind that Atif and I will became friends later. I can’t take back all my lies for I’m afraid that he won’t trust me anymore. So I continue telling lies to him. And as far as I know it's none of your business. Why are you asking too many questions? '' Aliyah said.

Atif can’t help his smile.

He notices that Aliyah gets annoyed at him.

"Nothing. I just want to know." Atif replied.

"And what will you get if you know the answers to your questions?” Aliyah replied.

Atif laughed this time.

He knew Aliyah was getting more annoyed at him.

Even though Atif knew that Aliyah was annoyed he still sent a message to her.

"But by ending the communication with Atif do you really forget your feelings for him? Do you really stop yourself from falling to him?" Atif asked.

"No. She can't. “Aliyah replied.

This time there’s a sudden switch in Aliyah’s emotions and personality.

The other side of her personality manifest, the weaker and good side.

So Aliyah replies to Atif like that.

The weaker/good side of Aliyah's personality is referring to the stronger/bad side of her personality.

That the stronger/bad side of her personality stops the communication with Atif but still remembers the times when they are still friends and don’t forget the feelings for him.

This stronger/bad side of Aliyah personality often ends the communication with others whom she thinks that will abandon or leave her; too afraid of being abandon or rejected by others; easily consider those individuals as bad that lead Aliyah become angry and discard those individuals in her life.

The weaker/good side of her personality is the one talking to Atif right now that's why she said "No She can't."
