The Divorced Heiress Revenge (Bella Thompson) novel Chapter 1434

“Look at this video first.”

Ralph took out an iPad and played the full video of Christopher visiting Charles in jail.

Bella inched closer, asking in confusion, “What did he ask Charles to sign?”

“I’ve asked my colleagues in the technical department to analyze it. It’s a share transfer agreement,” Ralph replied grimly.

The three other people were stunned.

“This… How is it possible?”

Ian spoke first. “Shares represent their place and importance in the Iverson Group. Even if Charles could never leave jail for the rest of his life, he hates Christopher to the core. There’s no way Charles would transfer shares to Christopher!”

“I’ve also hired lip-reading professionals to interpret their conversation. The gist is that Christopher should have told Charles that his current predicament was all thanks to James. If he transferred the shares to him, he could find a way to bail him out. Something like that.”

Bella and Justin said simultaneously, “Idiot!”

“I thought so too. Christopher finally got rid of a major obstacle to his rise to power. How could he let him out? Charles should have used his rusty brain.” Ralph tutted and shook his head.

Ian mocked angrily, “Hmph! A monster like him should have his brain eaten by a dog. He’s better off dead. Having him alive is a waste of oxygen!”

“After getting Charles’ shares, Christopher should have been satisfied. Is there a need to kill him?” Looking at Bella’s heavy expression, Justin felt a little lost.

“If it were a normal person, they would’ve been satisfied. But to someone as vindictive and ruthless as Christopher, getting his shares was far from enough.”

Bella clenched her fists tightly. “What he really wanted was for Charles to die. Now that Charles is dead, his next target must be James.”

“But even so, doesn’t his actions seem too rushed?”

Justin had a keen intuition, which always made him the first to notice something amiss. “It’s like if he didn’t act now, Charles would be released…”
