Skyler locked eyes with Simone, smiling. “Yes, I am also part of the Special Department.”

Sean chimed in. “He’s the captain of the second team.”

Simone then asked, “Have you found out why that evil cultivator wanted to target me?”

Skyler replied, “Jodie asked him to come after you.”
