The Peremptory Casey Davies novel Chapter 44

Hunter's eyes widened, an awkward smile appeared on his face, and then he tried to free his hand from Casey.

But to his surprise, instead of letting go, Casey’s grasp was getting more powerful.

Wasn’t he a useless person? How come he’s so strong? I had been working out a lot lately. I was even stronger than the coaches.

Hunter was astonished at first. And then he exerted more strength, trying to make Casey suffer.

However, no matter how hard he tried, Casey had no reaction at all. Instead, Hunter felt more and more painful.

Hunter sweated on his forehead. His hand was so painful that he couldn't use any strength, but he had to bare it and pretend to be fine.

It would be really embarrassing if Diana and Edith noticed that he was much weaker than a useless man.

Casey sneered in his heart. He had already foreseen that Hunter would try to embarrass him. Unfortunately, he wouldn’t give Hunter such a chance.

“What’s wrong with you two? Why are you still holding each other’s hand?” Diana asked strangely.

"Yeah, Casey, you are too excited, my hand will be broken if you keep holding it.” Hunter seized this opportunity and said quickly.

Casey let go of his hand and sat next to Edith.

Hunter sighed in relief. His hand had been bruised, which was due to Casey’s strong grip.

If Casey continued to hold his hand, his hand might be indeed broken.

Hunter didn't his bruised hand from Diana and Edith. He handed over the menu to them and quickly massaged his hand while Diana was ordering food.

That was strange. How was he so strong? Hunter had decided to teach Casey a lesson and let him see their gap today.

Hunter cursed in his mind, thinking that he must find a chance to avenge.

"Everyone says that Casey is a useless man in J City. This is the first time I met him, and he doesn’t seem useless.” Hunter pretended to speak calmly.

"Then you really overestimate him, he is a completely useless man, he dare not say anything even if I call him useless." Diana said casually while playing on the phone.

"Diana!" Edith was angry.

Diana stuck out her tongue at Edith and stopped talking.

Hunter thought Casey probably worked a lot at home every day, which was why he got so strong, other than that, Casey was useless.

Hunter laughed and said, "I am sorry for speaking so frankly. What I said just now seems to be inappropriate. I hope you don't mind."

Casey glanced at him and said coldly, "You have low EQ, I don't blame you."

Hunter was stunned right away. Diana and Edith almost laughed out loud because of what Casey just said.

Originally he wanted to show that he humiliated Casey intentionally, leaving the latter with no chance to argue.
