The Peremptory Casey Davies novel Chapter 64

"Amara, don't scold Casey like this. Since Casey has said that, it means he has money to buy a car. This is a good thing." Remi said with a smile. She wished Casey to keep boasting.

Then, when Casey couldn't afford a car, she could laugh at them.

"How can he have money? These years, it is me who give him money. It is just enough for him to shop for groceries. Even if he keeps living a frugal life, he can't afford to buy a car." Amara said in confidence, as if she was proud that Casey had no money.

"You can't say that. Maybe it's Casey's own money. When are you going to buy a car, Casey?" Remi said with a smile.

Amara looked embarrassed. It seemed that Remi intended to seize on it and make an issue.

She looked at Casey angrily with a murderous look on her face.

If it wasn't for that killing people would break the law, Amara might have killed Casey.

"Tomorrow." Casey replied.

"Well. It seems that Casey has a lot of money. I'd like to come to see what kind of car you will buy tomorrow." Remi smiled more deeply. She clearly knew Casey's status in the family. It was impossible for Casey to buy a car.

Now that Casey said like this, she would come to see it tomorrow. If there was no car, she could laugh at Amara confidently.

It was a war between older women.

Amara directly stretched out her hand and pinched Casey's arm. Then, she smiled at Remi, "Casey is just talking nonsense. How does he have so much money? He's joking."

Edith also glanced at Casey in embarrassment and then said to Remi, "Yes. Casey is joking. We have no plan to buy a car now."

Remi stood up and said with a smile, "Although Casey doesn't have a job, he's a man at least. He won't boast, right? Casey, if you want to buy a car, I suggest you buy one the same as mine, which just costs 200,000."

"I'll come to see your new car tomorrow. Bye."

Remi walked to the door.

"See you tomorrow." Casey said.

After Remi went out, Amara immediately glared at Casey and said, "You want me to make a fool of myself in front of Remi, don't you? How can you afford a car? When Remi comes tomorrow and sees that there is no car, it's me who will be laughed at by her. You are revenging on me!"

"Casey, you shouldn't tell Remi about this. We are not able to buy it now." Edith also suggested.

"I'll take a car tomorrow." Casey spoke lightly.

"You are so confident to take a car tomorrow. Are you going to take it in your dream? You can't do anything but bragging."

Amara was really angry. After scolding Casey, she turned back to her room.

Edith sighed. She didn't think Casey was incompetent. But Casey had bought so many things for her before, which were all expensive. Even if he was rich, she was afraid there was not much money left.

"Go to bed early. I'll go to work myself tomorrow. Good night." Edith said it and then turned back to the room.

After Remi came home, she immediately covered her stomach and laughed. Her husband and son were surprised.

"What's the matter? Why are you laughing so happily?" Remi's husband asked.

"Can you imagine what I have heard at Amara's house just now? Casey, that trash, said he would buy a car tomorrow." Remi said loudly.

Her husband and son looked at each other, and then they all laughed.

"You don’t say! Casey said he wanted to buy a car? Does he have money? I'm afraid he gets his money from his wife." Brian said.

"Casey said that he would use his own money. It is really shameless of him. Amara gives him 500 a month to shop for groceries. It is impossible that he has money to buy a car." Remi said with irony.

"I piss myself with laughter. A trash dared to say he would buy a car. He's just jealous because he saw Brian buy a good car, isn't he?" Remi's husband said with disdain.

"Let's go to his house tomorrow to see what kind of car Casey will buy." Remi looked forward.

"I'm afraid it's a bicycle." Brian said with a smile.

They couldn't help laughing again.

The next morning, after breakfast, Edith did not let Casey send her to company, but rode an electric car to work herself.

After cleaning up the house, Casey went out to get a shared-bike and went to the auto city.

He parked the shared-bike at the door of a Land Rover 4s Shop. When several salesmen inside saw him, they all laughed.

"Look, there's a guy who rode the shared-bike and came here. He's not here to buy cars in our shop, isn't he?"

"It seems that he is coming to our shop. Nowadays, there are so many people who are shameless. He is so poor but still dares to visit the Range Rover 4s Shop."

"After he comes in, we all ignore him. Let him wander around by himself. This kind of person will only waste our time and can't afford to buy a car."

Casey walked into the 4s Shop. After looking around, he wanted to find a sales person to ask. However, there were several salesmen standing inside, but none of them came to talk to him.
