The Peremptory Casey Davies novel Chapter 70

Hearing Conor’s words, Casey laughed and said, “It is so simple. Ask me to go with you the next time when you go to the underground casino. I will help you to beat him.”

Both Conor and Morgan opened their eyes widely, feeling it impossible.

“Mr. Davis, although the underground casino is small, their leader is call Gambling King. I have been there twice with Conor and have seen his awesomeness. There may be few people in J City who can beat him in gambling. Even if you go with us, it might not be possible to beat him.” Morgan said.

“Yes. He is really good at gambling, and has an amazing mental calculating ability, which I appreciate very much so I want him to work for me. When the underground world of J City is unified in the future, we will need someone like him to be in charge of finance, which is an important part.” Conor said.

Casey looked at them, a little speechless, and he said, “To be honest, my gambling skills might not be worse than him.”

Both Morgan and Conor felt doubtful. They knew Casey was very capable, but it was impossible for him to be good at everything, so they both thought Casey was bragging.

Seeing they didn’t believe him, Casey felt too lazy to explain, and he said directly, “Call on me the next time when you go to that casino. I will give you a show.”

Both of them nodded and left here together.

The next morning, Hunter went alone to the KTV. He had made an appointment with Black Wolf to come to take Edith away this morning.

He made several phone calls to Black Wolf last night, but he didn’t answer, which made he think that Black Wolf had definitely got Edith and was busy in having sex with her, who had no time to answer him.

Although he felt uneasy once thinking of the appearance of Edith lying under Black Wolf, he didn’t care when he thought Edith would be his woman later.

But what made him feel strange was that he didn’t see any subordinate of Black Wolf after entering the KTV.

He asked about the situation from the manager, and then he was shocked with his eyes widened.

“What did you say? Black Wolf was killed yesterday?” Hunter exclaimed.

“Be quiet. Don’t speak it out in public.” The manager gave him a stare.

“Who was killed?” Hunter asked.

“Don’t ask about it. Anyway, from now on, there is not Black Wolf in J City.” After speaking, the manager ignored Hunter.

Hunter swallowed, thinking that Casey and Edith were so lucky. The job was about to be done when Black Wolf suddenly had an unexpected misfortune.

He naturally didn’t think Black Wolf was killed by Casey, but by some adversary of Black Wolf.

“Damn it! Casey really had a good luck. Well, just leave him aside for a while. Recently there is an important project in the company. After dealing with it, I will definitely fix him.”

Hunter didn’t think much, and he didn’t care about Black Wolf’s death. After all, he had no friendship with Black Wolf, but just temporary cooperation.

He didn’t know if Black Wolf had the opportunity to cross him up, he would have come to the same end as Black Wolf.

After a few days, Conor sent an SMS to Casey, “Tonight we will go to the casino to have the last try. If we fail again, I will abandon the idea.”

After receiving the SMS, Casey instantly glanced at Edith by his side and asked cautiously, “Well, I have something to deal with tonight and may come back a little late. Do you agree?”

Edith hesitated and said, “Just go. You don’t need to ask me.”

“You are my wife, so I need to ask for your approval.” Casey said.

“OK, I agree.” Edith answered, but she felt somehow a little reluctant.

In the past, she and Casey didn’t interfere with each other. No matter what Casey did, she would never ask.

However, she suddenly wanted to know what Casey was going to do this time. He said that he had something to deal with, but he had no job. What did he want to do?

Was he going to brothel? A bold idea suddenly came to Edith’s mind.

She had learned from Diana that normally if a man said he would go out at night without explaining where to go, it was very possible for him to go out for entertainment.

Was Casey also going to look for entertainment? Edith suddenly realized that she had never allowed Casey to touch her during these years after their marriage.

Casey was a normal man after all. Since Edith didn’t allow him to touch her, he had to find somewhere to give vent to his sexual desire.

Thinking of this, Edith increasingly believed that Casey was going to brothel tonight.

She bit her lips and clenched her little fists tightly and angrily.

Nevertheless, she shouldn’t blame him for that, because it was her who didn’t allow him to touch her after all. But why did she feel so sad once thinking of this?
