Numerous red flames decorated the stone walls. The flames seemed to be alive, jumping about and lighting up the cave.

Darryl was all but speechless. Upon some thought, he responded, "The White Tiger King's subordinates have gotten the Ghost Spirit Herb, so they'll give it to us when we leave. This cave looked a little weird, so I thought I'd just come down here to have a look out of curiosity..."

Cloud Spirit obviously did not believe Darryl's words one bit. She scurried ahead to ask sternly, "Tell me the truth. What's wrong with this cave?" "Why would I come down here if I knew?" Darryl was wrought with annoyance as he forced out a smile. "Since you're down here already, you might as well check it out with me for yourself."

Darryl's face was expressionless as he spoke, but his chest tightened with nerves.
