Nikki returned home and was surprised by the scene that Ryan slept on the sofa. She thought Ryan would not come back. Seeing his weak face,she could not help touching his forehead. Ryan grabbed Nikki's hand immediately and shouted, "Nikki, is it you?"

Nikki drew away her hand and did not answer. She thought that there would be no communication between them after divorce.

But the temperature of his hands were a bit high, and he might have a fever. Nikki went to take a glass of water and fed Ryan two cold medicines. Ryan had them obediently, and dragged Nikki's sleeves instinctively.

Nikki turned her back on him with complicated feelings in her eyes. Now that he had chosen to let her go, but why was he still holding her?

“Nikki.” Shouted Ryan.

Hearing Ryan's call, Nikki finally compromised. She put the glass down, and squatted down again to hold Ryan's hand, "I'm here."

His breath became calm and felt relieved when he heard Nikki's voice, then he went to sleep quietly.

Nikki stared at Ryan's handsome face, and felt a little sad. He said clearly that he would never fall in love with her in his life, and told her that the most thing she regretted was to know he. But at the time when she was the most vulnerable, he broke her heart again.

"Ryan, what on earth do you want to do?" Nikki asked inward.

Nikki stayed with Ryan overnight and didn’t take a nap until he recovered.

In the morning, the bell rang and Nikki went to open the door. Iva was standing outside the door.

Iva was a little stunned. She thought Nikki had left without saying anything. However she was still here.

Nikki wondered close the door subconsciously when she saw Iva, but was stopped by Iva.

"Nikki, what tricks are you playing, don't you say you're leaving? But why aren't you leaving yet? I guess it's the way that you want to keep Ryan.” Iva asked.

"Who actually play the tricks? I think you will know it better." Nikki said.

Iva was irritated but she didn't want to leave Ryan here. Otherwise Ryan will rekindle with Nikki when he woke up. She pushed Nikki rudely away, walked in directly, and saw Ryan lying on the sofa and quickly asked, “What’s wrong with you?”

"Nikki, what did you do to Ryan?" Iva asked warily.

"He has a fever and has just taken pills." Nikki answered.

I'm seeking for someone to take him to my home, and I hope you have self-awareness and don't bother our life in the future.”Iva said.

Iva finished the phone call and lifted Ryan away. At the moment, Ryan was still calling Nikki's name, but Nikki failed to hear that. She got a stomachache again, hiding herself alone in the bedroom suffering from the pain.Nikki was pregnant so that She has never taken medicine. She was afraid that the medicine will have side effects on her baby. Every time it hurt, Nikki would put up with this kind of pain which was not affordable.

She vomited much blood again. Looking at her pale face in the mirror, what she hoped just to persist until giving birth.

Ryan woke up and found that he was at Iva's house. He clearly remembered he went back to Nikki's home and had saw her. How did she suddenly become Iva?

With red eyes, Iva asked nervously, "Ryan, are you feeling better? You had a fever yesterday, and I took care of you overnight."

"Did you take care of me last night?" Ryan asked, wondering the confusion that in his memory it was Nikki who took care of him.

"Yeah, I took care of you all night. Fortunately, the fever has remitted. Don't do such a stupid thing, OK? I feel distressed for you."

Ryan couldn't bear it, and leaned around Iva's waist, started comfort her, "Well, it won't happen anymore. I won't make you worry about me anymore."

"But you have a fever for Nikki, do you like her? Ryan, what position do you place me in?" Iva said with more and more grievance in mind. "She treats me like that, do you still remember her?"

The accusation made Ryan felt guilty. It was indeed what Iva said. Why was he so kind to Nikki. If he still cared about Nikki of two minds, it was unfair to Iva.

"Sorry, Iva. I won't go to meet Nikki again." Ryan promised.

Ryan grabbed Iva's arm and said, "Let's get married."

"Really?" Iva asked with huge exultation.

Ryan smiled indulgence and touched Iva's face, "Yes."
