Ryan thought that she was pretending and deliberately behaved like this before Iva, so he grabbed her arm tightly, he said, "What do you mean?Is it so weird to make you vomit like this?"

Nikki shook her head, “It is delicious. It account to my problems that I am not accustomed to its flavour.”

Ryan scoffed, "Are you jealous? I haven't seen you as abnormal as today, since we have been together for so long. Being my wife, without the reality of a couple, could not make you satisfied?”

This couple grew up together for the past two decades without end. Their parents have great friendship so they arranged the marriage for Ryan and Nikki. Since she was sensible, began to realized the love between male and female, she was into Ryan faithfully, even to the point of death.

She fixed her love for thirteen years. Ryan never discovered this fact with a cold but also ignored attitude.Even the hard stones could be melted but she cannot melt the his mind. Although she has done many stupid things, he had never glanced a more seconds on her.

In fact, they were able to get married without any hitch because of Nikki’s father, who entrusted her to Ryan before he died, and gave him all his belongings. Nikki was a child who was spoiled from her childhood and ignorant in her daily time. Her father was afraid that no one would take care of Nikki after his death therefore he forced Ryan to marry her.

Nikki held his hand tightly and smiled resolutely, "Ryan, I am only ten months left. No one will entangle you in the future. You can be assured that you will be free. Please be nice to me in this ten months, OK?"

Her words seemed to make separation and death, making Ryan quickly released her hand. Ryan stared at Nikki with incomprehensible sights. He felt scared for her relief. Nikki had been entangled in him for so many years. That is impossible for her to quit so easily.

"Nikki, are you insane?" Ryan swore and left with a doubting mind.”

Just now Ryan was checking the wound of Iva. There was a large scar on her back which was caused by saving Ryan. So Ryan had been guilty all these years and promised to take care of her for her lifetime. Five years ago, he planed to marry Iva, however the matter was putting on because Nikki’s father suddenly asked him to marry his daughter.

Iva became his mistress without any spouse’s status.

"Ryan, will we really get married in ten months?" Iva said in an sense of unease. Moreover, she was afraid that these ten months were just a excuse.

Ryan was full of doubts. He was confused by Nikki’s behaviour which seemed to say bye to him.

“Maybe it will happen.” Ryan answered casually.

With a delighted mood, Iva pushed Ryan down upon the sofa, started to kiss his lips and went closely into Ryan’s cloths with her hands.

Ryan held her waist to kiss on her without any hesitations, changing her place to the sofa. Suddenly, he looked at the sky outside, finding it was very late and dark enough. It was about to rain. He suddenly lost any interests when thought about an important things that Nikki as scared of dark.

“Ryan?” Iva asked.

Ryan loosened Iva and wear his suit well,in a low voice he said. "It's too late, I have to go home. We still have time in the future."

Embarrassed as Iva is, she asked, “So are you going to meet Nikki? Do you take pity on her?”

"Even if we reach a divorce, I still have to take care of her." Ryan answered mentioning his promise toward Nikki’s father.

Iva felt unhappy and realized the fact they could not be together with Nikki between both of them.

The lights almost lightened every corner of the room.

There was heavy rain outside. Lightning struck from time to time. The thunder rang. Mo Sheng embraced his legs and sat tightly on the sofa.

The pouring rain was continuing outside with flash lightened from time to time. A thunder rang at this time, and Nikki embraced her legs, sitting rigidly on the sofa. She hated the weather of thunder and rain. She remembered that, once upon a time, in a bad day like now, she went to see Ryan with her cloths totally soaked, just in order to send him the homemade cookie.

Standing beside the door, she didn't notice that a thunder slashed directly in front of her. All the electric circuits of Ryan’s house were cut off. The huge thunder blew her ears out of hearing for three days. Fortunately, she was fine but had an indelible shadow in her teenage memory.

A flash turned off the light.

Nikki raised her head in shock, finding nobody in her dark room. Nikki took out her mobile phone as soon as possible to turn on the light. At the first, she wanted to call Ryan but gave up after some thoughts. She knew that it was dangerous to drive home from the company so late.

Curled in the corner of the sofa, Nikki closed her eyes tightly. Hearing something, Nikki raised her head and got frightened by a huge figure before her. Nikki almost screamed but stopped when Ryan opened her electric torch. Ryan said in a low voice, “It’s me.”
