There was no time to go to the supermarket during the day. The refrigerator at home was empty. Elizabeth planned to buy some fresh fruits from the nearby fruit supermarket to fill the refrigerator.

Now, Snow, her best friend, was not by her side. She would go in and out of this rental house by herself every day in the future.

Although Elizabeth felt a little lonely, she could still make her life more comfortable.

In the fruit supermarket, Elizabeth picked up some dragon fruits, bananas and apples, and then took them to the front desk to weigh and pay.

Just when she took out her purse and was about to make payment, a big slender hand already held a hundred-dollar bill and handed it to the cashier.

"Here’s your change. Fifty yuan. Thanks for coming." The female cashier said with a smile, and handed the remaining money to the person who paid the bill.

Elizabeth looked up at the owner of the hand.

"Lady, your boyfriend is so great!" The female cashier looked at Elizabeth with a smile, and then looked at the man next to Elizabeth. She praised the man in surprise.

This man was really handsome!

He had a handsome face which was like a superstar. His face was impeccable.

The man wore military uniforms and military boots, with wide shoulders, narrow waist and slender legs.

His height was much higher than Elizabeth.

"You..."

"Come with me!"

Before Elizabeth finished speaking, the man stretched out his hand. His big hand grabbed Elizabeth's small hand and took her out of the fruit supermarket.

"Who are you? Let go of me!"

Elizabeth held a bag of fruit in one hand, and tried to get rid of the man's hand with the other hand. But being dragged forward by the man, she was unable to stop.

He just didn’t see her one day, but he missed her very much.

Elizabeth couldn't understand the man's feelings. She even had some complaints. Was this man crazy?

She didn't even know him!

The man stopped and turned around. Elizabeth bumped into his arms.

As soon as she looked up, he lowered his head and kissed her.

The man opened her teeth aggressively and kissed her forcefully.

His heart was beating fiercely and his breathing was rapid. But Elizabeth's mind was blank.

This taste was familiar...

It was like the man from last night...

The man hugged her tightly. He exhausted his own temperature, breath, and passion to kiss her.

Elizabeth tried her best to punch the man with her hands, trying to push away the rude man in front of her.

"Ouch…"

The man suddenly let go of her, and covered his abdomen in pain.

Elizabeth was taken aback. Suddenly, she realized that he was the man who got injured and crawled into her house last night!

"I'm fine, but I don't have much time to stay. I originally planned to go back to YISAN Villa to see you, but the butler said that you are not at home. After I finish the task, I can be with you every day." Jasper raised his hand to rub Elizabeth's head and said affectionately.

What should he do? He seemed to have really fallen in love with the woman who saved him.

Elizabeth looked blank. Just when she wanted to ask the man what he meant, the man turned around agilely, jumped over the flowerbed on the roadside, and then jumped into a car which just stopped by the roadside. Someone inside opened the door of the back seat of the military green off-road vehicle.

With a sound of "Bang", the military green off-road vehicle drove away as soon as the door was closed.

He was in a hurry. He didn’t give her any time to question him at all.

Elizabeth raised her hand to pat her forehead. It hurt. So what happened just now was not a dream.

But what was going on with this man?

He kissed her forcibly, and said some inexplicable things to her.

Since he was safe, don't come back to look for her again!

She just looked at the military green off-road vehicle. It had a white license plate, which meant it was a military vehicle.

Was he a soldier?

Elizabeth only guessed wildly, but did not take the man's affairs seriously.

Perhaps, he was just grateful to her for saving him, and had no vicious towards her.

After Jasper returned to the car, he rubbed his lips with his fingers, as if he was thinking about something endlessly.

His comrade-in-arms, Paul, patted his shoulder, pursed his lips, and asked jokingly, "Jasper, I saw everything in the car just now! How about that girl’s lips? Isn't it sweet?"

Suddenly, Jasper's face was tense. His sharp black eyes glared at Paul.

Paul couldn't help but laughing. He raised his hand to make “zip it” gesture on his mouth, indicating that he would shut up.

Before long, Jasper sent a message to Butler Lau in YISAN Villa, asking if Snow had gone home.

Butler Lau quickly replied a text message to tell him that Snow had arrived home safely and bought a lot of expensive limited-edition clothes.

“Well. As long as she liked it.”

After Jasper finished typing this sentence and sent it to Butler Lau, he turned off the phone.

Since Elizabeth worked, she thought it was already a sad thing that her best friend broke up with her. Unexpectedly, the second thing that saddened her would come one week after Snow left.

Elizabeth originally thought she could spend the internship period arranged by the company safely.
