It's been 3 weeks since the lunch gathering with Thunder's Auntie and his cousin happened. On that day Jewel felt so much happiness because of the way her husband treated her, he was so sweet and loving in front of his family even though she knew all of it was part of their act.

Since then they are back to normal, her husband back to his regular habit, a drunkard, a womanizer and most of all not minding about her presence but good thing he never brings her women in their house again.

She's hurt about it but she endured it all and chose to cry the pain she felt .

She mostly thinks that all of this is her fault, why she's being like this , why she suffered and why her life has become miserable.

At first he thought everything would be okay and they would live together as a happy married couple after their wedding but she experienced the other way around.

All of the happiness she desired to have with him never came to life.

She feels like falling into a deep hollow and no one is there to catch her.

She just finished preparing her husband's breakfast and waited for him to get downstairs.Later while she heard footsteps and for sure it's her husband coming in.

"Thunder! I'm done cooking your breakfast, come eat." she said.

He stared at her with a furrow eyebrow. He didn't even answer or smile. He walked to the dining table and started eating.

She felt a little rejoice watching her husband eating the food she did not like before he would leave and ignore everything she does.

While staring at her husband she recalls something. She liked to ask something but she didn't know where to start.

She felt nervous because he might ignore her but there's nothing wrong if she tried.

She took a deep breath before she started.

"Ahm Thunder, I-I mmhh, I have something to ask?." she said.

He stopped and looked at me "What is it?"

"Are you leaving? I mean going somewhere today?" She directly asked.

"Why did you ask? Nothing really, but I'm going to the company later to sign some files after it. I'll be coming home." he answered.

It made her smile hearing him talk longer than usual because it's rare for him to talk like that if he answered maybe one or two words is enough.

"I'll be cooking dinner, might as well you'll eat your dinner here cause as you said you have nothing to go for." She said,

He nodded as he answered.

Her smile widened even more. She was happy because he agreed.

"You're assuming again and afterwards you'll be disappointed and hurt and nothing you can do but to cry" Her igo contradicts.

"I'll be leaving later for groceries" she said

She hadn't heard any other answers coming from Thunder and might as well stop talking. It's enough for her that he agreed to eat dinner here.

After her husband finished his food she immediately washed those dishes while Thunder returned to his room.

Afterwards Jewel dresses herself up for her to buy everything in the supermarket, the things she needs for the dinners she's planning to prepare. This day is her special day and it becomes more special because she's gonna be with the person she loves the most.

Around 2 o'clock in the afternoon she arrived home. She put everything on the fridge and took a look for her husband in the room but he was not already there.

Maybe he's already in the office "- she thought

It's still early though so she decided to take a nap in her room. She set her alarm clock for her to wake up on time to cook the food.

While preparing the vegetable salad she remembers her dearest friend. It was his favorite dish.

She felt sad recalling the things that happened 3 years ago. She avoided remembering that incident .That night and the incident it gave her was painful yesterday.

It traumatizes her.That night her life is in danger and the worst thing she's almost got raped.

She really hate the idea of being rape because it gives her a hard time, gives her a real nightmare. If it's not because of her friend she certainly couldn't survive.

She smiled bitterly, I miss you Daven.

She woke up at 4 o'clocks in the afternoon. She immediately went to the kitchen and started cooking. It's 6 o'clock when I finish cooking and preparing everything at the table. When everything is done she goes back upstairs to dress herself up.

She already waited for 2 hours and still her husband is not yet home. It's 8 in the evening but here she is waiting for him.

Her eyes begin to water. This day is her special day and she wants it to be perfect even just today, but it looks like it won't be happening.

He sat in a chair in front of the table and stared at the food he had prepared. She opened a bottle of wine and poured it into the glass. She is still waiting for him.

While drinking her wine she can't stop but to cry. She's hurting again. It's the usual thing for her but she is still hoping that maybe today, just for today she'll be happy. But Thunder never misses this day to hurt her.

What's new? Thunder constantly hurting me and giving me false hope, until when I'll be like this? This is exhausting , but I still love him. - she thought to herself

Life is so unfair!

Even just for today, this special day is why he can't give an exemption. Maybe if she was with her family she might be happy.

She continuously drinks her wine when she remembers she forgot to check her phone all day. She knows that she got many texts and calls but she also knows that none of them are coming from the person that can make her day more special.

She did not realize that she already drank all of her wine. She goes to her room.

“'HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEWEL,” she whispered to herself as she walked upstairs.

As she enters her room her tears that she tried to avert to fall are now flowing down over her face.

Here she is again crying, it hurts her a lot because it's her special day as she hopes that she should be happy but what had happened she's at the corner again crying her pain out.

I'm tired

I'm tired being hurt

I'm tired of shedding tears again.

I'm tired hoping for nothing

I'm tired of fighting for this love.
