Susan was going crazy.

What should she do? She saw Scott's name, but she never saved his number before!

She saw the curious expressions of her colleagues, got up and wanted to hide into Edward's office, she had to call Edward to deal with Scott.

But, she just exited her own office area and didn't even get as far as Edward's, when she heard steps.

"Sorry, Sir, you cannot enter..."

Susan turned around, a tall person was standing right in front of her, Susan recognized him as Jarvis, and her expression darkened.

Was this situation not messed up enough?

"What are you... ! Jarvis, put me down!"

Susan didn't even finish her sentence before Jarvis picked her up, and carried her outside without paying attention to her struggles.

Susan kept hitting Jarvis on his shoulders, but nothing worked, until Jarvis was downstairs and had shoved her into his car, he finally looked at her angrily.

"Explain."

He only said one word to her, but Susan didn't understand what he wanted.

"Explain what?"

Susan looked at Jarvis confused, but he just said coldly, "Are you that horny?"

When she heard that, she finally understood the connection to what happened today, Susan knew what Jarvis was asking her.

"There is nothing, you know the relationship between Edward and me."

Susan pretended as if she didn't care, and looked at Jarvis while she answered him.

Jarvis looked as if he was ready to peel off Susan's skin in that moment.

"Susan!"

Jarvis looked more controlled after a while, he bit his teeth, and called out her name.

"Why are you like this now?"

Susan looked up at stared into his eyes, she pretended not to understand, "What do you mean? That I said I would marry Edward? Or that I became so lustful?"

Susan didn't even know how she said that word out loud.

Jarvis snorted.

"Me and Edward are legally married, I don't think that is lustful. If you have nothing else to say, I will get out now, I still need to take care of some family stuff."

As she said so, Susan opened the door, but Jarvis grabbed her hand, and pulled her close to kiss her.

Susan struggled without any effect.

Then she got so anxious that she accidentally bit Jarvis lips.

Even then he still didn't let go of her, but he was still staring at her, eyes filled with anger.

In that moment, his phone rang.

He took his mobile and looked at the name, then he hung up the call.

But right after, it started to ring again.

Jarvis hung up again.

From her seat, Susan could see the name on his phone, Lucy.

After declining her call uncountable times, Lucy stopped trying, but then it was Kendra's turn.

It was very obvious that Jarvis didn't want to pick it up, but after the third time of Kendra calling him, he finally did pick up.

Susan was so close to him, that she could hear what Kendra said on the phone.

She said, "We made an appointment with the Hawkins family, don't forget to pick Lucy after work."

When Susan heard that, she couldn't help but to smile, it was kind of funny to her.

Didn't this mean that Jarvis had a new girlfriend? Why was he still not leaving her alone then?

"Yeah."

Jarvis hung up the call after saying that.

Susan looked at him with a scornful expression, then she opened the door again and got out.

Jarvis immediately got out of the car as well and followed her, he pulled her hand from behind, "Wait."

"You already have another girlfriend, stop pretending as if you are still hanging onto me."

Susan looked at Jarvis, her voice filled with disdain.

She thought he was still having those feelings, but that was not the case.

Jarvis knitted his brows, and looked at Susan, "That is arranged, she is introduced by my family, I can't deny seeing her."

"You should find a woman and start a family."

Susan said disdainfully.

"But the only person I want to start a family with is you!"

"Oh."

As soon as she heard him say that, she snorted and laughed in response.

"I can decline the blind date tonight, but you need to come back to me."

When Jarvis said this, Susan felt a headache.

"Whatever you choose to do, that is your own decision, it's none of my business."

“As for your feelings, the only one could be responsible is none but you, never ever expect anyone to undertake you anything.”

Once she finish her sentence, she turned and left without looking back cause she didn’t want to face him anymore.

She was afraid that she would get everything off her chest that she had been holding back all these years, if she had to face Jarvis again.

She would ask him why he left without saying goodbye.

She would tell him to ask Kendra why she framed her.

She didn't know if Jarvis would go through all this drama for her, but all of this had hurt her.

She was afraid someone would find out about her past, and reveal it to Edward.

She was afraid someone would find out about Ruby's existence...

All she wanted was to live her life, to take care of the people and things she cared about.

"Okay."

Jarvis suddenly said behind Susan, "Be responsible to your own feelings."

When he said that, he turned and got into his car.

Then he stepped onto the gas, and drove away.

Susan stared at Jarvis' car, she didn't move, just kept staring for a long time.

Then she heard a voice behind her, "Very interesting, very interesting, why don't you just accept him?"

Susan turned around when she heard that voice, it came from Vanessa.

Vanessa took off her shades, and showed her whole face, she was only wearing light make up, but for some reason Susan thought she looked more aggressive that way.

"Ms. White, Jarvis is the grandson of the old master Ford, he is a member of Ford family, you will be more wealthy if you manage to sleep with Jarvis rather than Edward."

Vanessa was staring at Susan, she opened her mouth and spoke softly, but it make her uncomfortable.

She was polite when she talked to Susan in the past.

"Ms. Murray, you must be here for Mr. Ford, but he is off duty today."

Susan didn't reply to Vanessa's question, and got back to her work attitude.

"I am not here for Edward, I am here for you. Ms. White, you are openly seducing Edward, aren't you afraid Mrs. Ford will find out?"

"You should know about me and Edward, then you should also know that he loves me... why still make sacrifices that don't matter?"

So... Vanessa thought she was the little bitch that was seducing Edward!
