A Girl Adopted by Wolves novel Chapter 32

I parked my bike outside my house. I took her hand in mine and we went inside the house. Dad was sitting in the living room. He gave us a warm smile and called for mom. Amara pinched my bicep and I turned my head to look at her. I gave her a goofy smile but inside I am hoping she doesn’t get offended by what is going to happen next. She looked at me with 'what the hell is going on over here' look.

"My parents wanted to meet you so I brought you here to meet them." She replied with a glare. I shifted back a little from her. This girl can be scary if she wants to. "Please don't kill me." I whispered scared about the events that are going to unfold now.

"A prior warning would have been nice." She hissed.

I shrugged and turned towards my parents. I am having a really bad feeling about this.

"Why are you two standing there? Come on in. Have a seat." Mom said giving us a warm smile.

"Finally he brought you here. We were so excited to meet you." Dad said to her.

"Nice to meet you too Mr. Wilson." She said nervously.

"Just call me Arthur. This is my wife Christine." He said smiling.

She nodded at them. I squeezed her hand but she yanked it back and rested both her hands on her knees. Everything went downhill from there.

"Amara, you are Robert Cross's daughter right?" Dad asked. She looked annoyed.

"No. I am Alpha Hercules's daughter." She answered sharply. Oh no.

"You are from another pack?" Dad asked confused.

"No sir. I am from this pack only." She replied smiling.

"I don't understand. I have never heard of him. I didn't even knew there was any other alpha in the town. How can there be two alphas for the same pack.”

"It's a long story."

"Okay. Does your father know about Ash being your mate?" he asked.

"Yeah. They have met each other." She said. I shuddered remembering when I met him.

"I would really like to meet him someday.” No dad you don’t.

"I would you rather not. The pack didn't take it very well." She warned. Yeah dad listen to her.

"Oh."

"Dad can we talk about something else?" I said trying to change the topic from her father. That is one scary wolf.

"I am really sorry for making you uncomfortable. Tell me about yourself." Dad said to her laughing.
