Chapter 179 

“This is delicious,” Lilac thanked Raya for the cookies, she liked chocolate and during this pregnancy, it seemed her sweet teeth became more apparent. She always craved for something sweet in the middle of the night and Hunter used to bring some cookies or chocolate for her just in case she was woken up and wanted to eat those. 

Therefore, it was rather hard and lonely for Lilac when Hunter was not around. She didn’t mean to be a spoil little girl, but she craved his presence more than these sweets. 

“I will bake more of cookies if you really liked it,” Raya said with a warm smile to see how she munched on her cookies. 

“Yes, please.” 

And with that, Lilac would always have these cookies that Raya made for her. She would refill the jar every time she ran out of it. 

And among Raya, Rose and Lena, Lilac was way closer to Raya than the other two, probably because Raya was always available for her. 

As days passed, Lilac was not really lonely again, especially when Hunter would write for her all the time. There would always be a reply to her letter, even though he didn’t say much, but it would always end up with ‘I love you‘ and ‘I miss you.

However, recently she felt lethargic, probably because her baby was growing and her mood would be all over the places some time, thus waking up in the morning was really not her thing. 

Meanwhile, Hunter was working his ass off to get everything done in the Golden Claw pack, because he wanted to go back home as soon as possible, but this bastard Aiden only made everything more complicated. 

There was this attack near at the territory of alpha Delvin’s pack, where they spotted it was actually the lycan attack. They couldn’t confirm whether Aiden was part of it or not, but alpha Delvin was furious. He was enraged because ten of his warriors died during this sudden attack and he demanded Aiden to be killed on the spot the moment they found him. 

But, when this demand reached luna Jasmine’s ears, she kicked another fuss. 

“You can’t let them slaughter our son!” she roared angrily, throwing anything that she could reach. “How can you let them talking about killing our son and you didn’t do anything!?” 

“What can I do!?” Alpha James was between rock and hard place. He hardly could think of anything and the way Jasmine screeched at him only made him even more furious with her.
