Ruby just confirmed that the people from the lycan pack would be here in four days and what was important was the fact that the alpha lycan and his pack member would come without their luna, because apparently she was pregnant. 

The news about Lilac was being pregnant, somehow, upset Ruby, but knowing that was the reason why she couldn’t come, her mood lifted up again. 

The alpha lycna was very intimidating, but she liked the way he treated Lilac. The way he looked at her would make your knees went weak. 

Meanwhile, her relationship with alpha James could be said as good. There was this tension between them after that remark and this made the alpha avoided her, which Ruby did mind at 

all. She simply sat back and watched how luna Jasmine tried so hard to figure out who was the woman that alpha James had been with. Because of this too, the alpha chose to keep distance from 

her. 

Later, a day before the alpha lycan came to Golden Claw pack, he had to bid his mate goodbye and Lilac became very clingy to him. She didn’t want to let him go. 

“Are you sure you don’t want to take me?” Lilac asked, she hugged Hunter tightly, as they were in their room. 

Hunter hugged her back, chuckled. “I want to, but I can’t.” 

“You can do anything that you want, you only need a determination about it.” Lilac looked at him in the eyes, pursing her lips because she was not happy at all. 

“My love. Even when you came, I can’t be always by your side and you are not comfortable in that pack. I don’t want you to be stress.” Hunter kissed her lips and lifted her off the ground, as he laid her down on the bed. “Remember? You are the one, who wanted to go back.” 

Lilac frowned because Hunter was right, but she was being stubborn right now, yet before she could protest anymore, Hunter had swallowed her words and kissed her passionately, he traced her body and brushed his hand against her breast, which made Lilac moaned and forgot what she was going 

to say. 

Especially when Hunter ran his hand down, lifting her dress and caressed her inner thigh. She forgot to reason with him and enjoyed his every touch. 

“You look so willing,” Hunter teased her. He chuckled when Lilac opened her eyes and glared at him, but she couldn’t be angry for long when his finger brushed aside her undergarment and he inserted his finger, making this delicious motion against her wet opening. “Have I told you that ‘I love you‘ today?” Hunter nipped on her chin. 

“Yes…” Lilac replied breathlessly, as she savored this moment.

She closed her eyes, but when Hunter traced her jawline down to her neck, he bit his mark there and this made her gasped, at the same time, Hunter used to fingers to pleasure her.

“I will wait for that,” Lilac replied, giggling. 

With that, Hunter left with the other warriors and his gamma to Golden Claw pack. He promised to return as soon as possible and Lilac only needed to be patient. 

“You look so in love,” Lena teased her. They watched how the alpha kissed her passionately before he left. 

“You must see it wrongly…” Lilac couldn’t help, but blush. 

With that Lena, Rose and Raya teased her, as they returned to the pack house. But, Raya glanced over her shoulder one last time to stare at the distance. She didn’t know what to feel about this. 

Because Lilac didn’t come with them, Hunter and the rest of the warrior reached Golden Claw pack in their beast form, which they could arrive sooner than expected.

There were around thirty warriors, including the gamma and the alpha in this group of lycan beast and all of them looked very intimidating, especially with the alpha led the way for them. 

When they finally reached the pack fortress, alpha James was not there because they arrived ahead of the schedule and a few warriors immediately escorted them to the pack house, where alpha James was informed. 

Hunter didn’t make a big deal out of it and after take some rest, he joined the dinner with the other alphas too, where Ruby attended as well. 

Ruby was shocked to see Hunter was there and started to ask around about it. 

“Oh, so he really didn’t come with his luna,” Ruby said to herself. She talked to Ania, she was a 

woman in her mid thirty and the only person, whom she considered close with. She didn’t really. like luna Jasmine, but didn’t show it publicly. 

“Yes, from what I know, he is worried about his luna because she is pregnant with their first child.” Ania sighed deeply. She and Ruby were sitting in different table from the alphas. “I thing Lilac is very fortunate to have him as her mate, even though he is a lycan and from what I heard a lycan can be brutal.”
