Dragon Master novel Maximilian novel Chapter 711

Maximilian shook his head and refused the proposal, "No need for that. I have no demand for any services to expand my social network."

The gentleman felt a little embarrassed hearing the response of Maximilian, and it was the first time he had ever heard a man would reject the invitation of Kyoten Izakaya's membership of the top level.

Canaan said by the side of Maximilian, "Save it, and it is about time for us to pay the bill. The top level membership of yours is nothing special to my master, and he would even demean himself if he were to really accept it."

Hearing that, the gentleman was dumbed and said awkwardly, "Oh, Please forgive my impulsiveness, and we would like to offer this meal for free as an apology."

"Don't you hear me clearly? Save it, and we can pay the bill. Not a chance my master will ever take any advantage!" Canaan was determined to pay the bill and the gentleman had no other choice but to leave them to the cashier.

The four of Maximilian walked out of Kyoten Izakaya, and Flora rolled her eyes and said to the others, "Such an awful experience for a meal, isn't it? We were here to relax at the beginning, and now things are just getting worse. Hey, guys, how about we pick Mount QL as our next destination?"

Victoria was the same, not in a hurry to go back so early. She nodded and said, "Sounds good. You are right that things around us recently are just not going well, and relaxation is exactly what we need now. Let's go there and take a look. Also, I heard that Mount QL has long been reputed for its position as one of the significant homelands of traditional Chinese medicine. We can go there, check it for ourselves, and also regard it as our supply points of raw material if the things there are truly of quality and sustainability." Though Victoria agreed with the plan of paying a visit to Mount QL for fun, at the end of her words she still implied that her decision was orientated by the sense of workaholism inside her, which was increasingly growing stronger day by day.

The four got in the car, and were about to roll to their destination.

The herbs naturally grown on Mount QL were abundant in their variety, and their medicinal values were far beyond those grown by scale production. For many years, individuals and corporations walking among medical industry came here for the raw materials.

Rolling until they reached the dead end of the road, the four saw the entrance of QL Village, and they needed to walk for the rest of their journey.

There was a parking lot at the entrance of the village, which was filled with cars from different medical corporations around the country. Maximilian parked the car, and went to the village along with the others.

The houses in the village were mostly the archaic and traditional kind, made of stone and wood and looking quaint and fascinating. On both sides of the not really wide street, there were lines of stalls run by the villagers, who were either selling their fresh herbs or haggling over the price with customers.

Victoria's eyes wondered about the things around her. She was so busy working on the business of Topyuann Group that she seldom had a chance to either go out for a walk or take sight of such scenery.

"I can now feel inside my relief and ease. It's been a while since last time I had the same feeling." Said Victoria.

"You know, a man is wise if he knows when he should work hard and when he should take a break. You need to give yourself a break occasionally or the outcome will be physically overwhelming."

While Maximilian was responding to Victoria, a hefty man standing ahead of Victoria somehow abruptly went backwards. Maximilian soon grabbed Victoria's shoulders and drew her into his chest.

The hefty man took two steps backwards and hit himself the man behind Victoria. The man behind him was annoyed and complained, "Hey! Watch out your steps, big man!" The hefty man turned around, scratching his head and apologizing awkwardly.
