Drowing In Mr. Scott's Love novel Chapter 45

After class at noon, Abby quickly took Sophia to find Edward and apologize to him.

Before they went out, they saw Edward standing at the door of the classroom.

Many girls in the classroom were screaming.

"It's Edward!"

"He's so handsome and gentle."

"But why does he come here?"

All people suddenly looked at Abby.

Abby was surprised and found that Edward seemed to look for someone in the classroom.

Sophia shouted, "Edward, here."

Edward looked over and saw Abby.

He smiled at her as usual.

Abby was embarrassed, but she still walked toward Edward.

"Why are you here?"

When Abby asked him, she did not look at him.

She was really afraid that he would blame her.

Edward smiled and said, "Let's find a quiet place to talk."

"Okay."

Abby nodded, but she still felt uneasy.

Find a quiet place to talk?

Does he want to blame her for what happened on the forum?

Sophia did make trouble to him.

As Sophia's good friend, she was also responsible.

Abby felt very worried and followed Edward.

It's not easy for her to be friends with Edward. Would they break up because of Sophia?

When Abby was lost in her thoughts, Edward suddenly stopped.

He smiled and asked, "What are you thinking?"

"What?"

Abby found that they were in a secluded bush.

"Nothing."

Abby smiled. Then, she bowed to Edward and apologized, "I'm sorry, Edward. Sophia posted those photos on the school forum, which made trouble to you. I'm really sorry."

"I also come to find you for this matter."

Edward said, "I want to tell you not worry about it too much."

"What are you saying?"

Abby looked at Edward and felt very confused.

Edward asked her not to care it too much.

What did he mean?

"I don't mind it. The rumor will disappear after few days, so I don't take it too seriously. You also don't need to care it too much."

Edward leaned against a tree. He did not blame Abby at all.

"Well."

Abby nodded, and thought carefully what he meant.

Did he dislike her, so he didn't care about? Or did he think there was no need to care about the rumor?

Edward seemed to be able to see through her doubts. He continued to say, "I mean that I don't care about what others think. Our relationship is up to us not others. Do you understand what I mean?"

"Well, I understand."

Abby nodded. She asked, "Am I still your friend?"

"Of course!"

Edward smiled and wanted to tease her. He said, "It is a big deal. Everyone already misunderstand that we are with together, so I think that we can do that."

Abby choked on her saliva.

She looked at Edward, "Are you kidding me?"

"What if I say I am not kidding you?"

Edward looked at Abby seriously, as if he was not joking at all.

This was the first time that Abby had seen Edward being so serious.

He usually was gentle and kind. He always spoke with a smile. Sometimes, it was hard for people to figure out what he was thinking. He always made people feel that he was so gentle.

But at this moment, he was so serious.

Abby was panicked and did not what to say.

They looked at each other quietly. Edward found that Abby was so nervous that she didn't know what to do.

After a while, he suddenly burst into laughter.

Abby was shocked.

She did not know why Edward smiled so happily.

"You are really interesting."

Edward was still laughing, but Abby finally knew what he laughed.

He just teased her.

"Edward, I didn't expect that you also liked to play tricks on others."

Abby felt relieved.

She was so nervous just now. She didn't expect that he also liked to play tricks on others. It overturned her cognition.

"You don't know me well."

Edward said, "If you know more about me, you might like me even more."

Abby blushed and felt embarrassed. She was speechless.

"I'm telling the truth!"

Edward was afraid that Abby would not believe him, so he added.

"This..."

Even if he knew that she liked him, he should not say it in front of her.

Abby was embarrassed.

"Well, I don't tease you. The matter is settled. Let's go and have dinner together."

Edward looked at his watch, and tidied up his clothes.

Abby was hungry. She was about to agree, but suddenly she thought of Richard, so she shook her head and said, "I have to go back now."

Before leaving, she said to Edward, "I will ask Sophia to delete the post as soon as possible."

"It doesn't matter. Those photos are good."

Edward did not care it at all.

Abby was helpless.

It seemed that she was the only one who cared about it.

Sophia was right that Edward did not mind it at all. He seemed to look happy.

Abby was in a mess. She thought that she made a mistake.

So she stared at Edward for a long time and found that he was not affected by the rumor at all.
