Drowing In Mr. Scott's Love novel Chapter 51

"Ah-Mr. Scott, what are you doing?"

Abby Miller was so scared that she almost cried out. What did he want to do in the daytime?

"Don't you think it's boring at home? That's why I allowed you to accompany me at the company."

Richard Scott's tone was one of mercy. He proudly raised his head and carried Abby Miller out of the door.

"But I can walk, just a little slower."

Abby Miller wanted to struggle in his arms, but was afraid of falling down. Her expression was very conflicted.

"My time is very expensive, so don't waste my time."

Richard Scott completely ignored her protest. He carried her to the elevator to the bottom of the building and walked to the side of the car.

The driver looked like it, "It's normal for Young Master to hold his fiancée." He opened the door for them.

After arriving at YS Group, Abby Miller, who had once again become a disabled person, was carried out of the car by Richard Scott.

It was the rush hour of work, and many employees of the YS Group on the first floor were waiting for the elevator.

Seeing Richard Scott walking in, everyone greeted him one after another.

"Good morning, Mr. Scott."

"Hello, President!"

Richard Scott held Abby Miller in his arms. There was no expression on his face as usual, and there was no trace of embarrassment on his face.

He nodded at the staff who greeted at him, walked to the private elevator, and walked in with Abby Miller in his arms.

The employees looked at each other with ambiguous eyes and winked at each other.

Abby Miller buried her head in Richard Scott's embrace, not daring to raise her head at all.

"Mr. Scott, put me down. I can walk by myself."

After entering the elevator, Abby Miller raised her head and protested weakly.

"You have no right to refuse."

Mr. Scott raised his head and didn't even look at her.

When the elevator reached the top floor, he calmly walked to the office and said, "I don't know how many people want to enjoy this kind of treatment. You should feel honored."

When they arrived at the office door, the secretary, Summer Kent, helped Richard Scott open the door. She looked calm, as if she was used to the president's behavior.

As expected of Richard Scott's assistant, Abby Miller complained in her heart. Her expression was as calm as his.

After entering, Richard Scott casually placed Abby Miller on the sofa. Then, he tidied up his tie and walked to his desk.

"I'm going to have a meeting soon. You stay here and don't run around." He warned lightly.

Abby Miller nodded obediently. She was not familiar with this place. Where could she go?

Richard Scott tidied up the documents and left with the folder.

Abby Miller sat in her spacious office. She was stunned for a while before she couldn't help looking around.

After looking at the various decorations in the office for a while, she began to feel a little bored. She leaned against the back of the sofa and her fingers slipped casually.

She couldn't just sit there, but what could she do?

There was a computer on Richard Scott's desk, but without his permission, she'd better not turn it on.

After sitting there for a while, Abby Miller finally couldn't help but stand up and slowly walked to the door.

Opening the door, she poked her head out and looked around. When she found that Richard was really not there, she walked out carefully.

Summer Kent happened to be sorting out the documents. When she saw Abby Miller, she gave her a friendly smile. "Miss Miller, if you need anything, just tell me. Your leg is still injured. You can't run around."

"How can it be so serious? My injury will be healed soon. Mr. Scott just made a big fuss. There is no need to be so nervous."

Abby Miller smiled awkwardly. When she thought of how she had been carried to the company in the morning, her cheeks burned slightly.

"It's no wonder. The president dotes on Miss Miller so much. Of course, he will be nervous about your injury. So, Miss Miller, you'd better listen to the president and take a good rest. Otherwise, if you make any mistakes, I will be in big trouble."

Summer Kent said with a smile. She even moved a chair for Abby Miller to sit down.

"Thank you."

Abby Miller sat on a chair. However, when she heard Summer Kent said that Richard Scott doted on her, she did not take it seriously.

How did this secretary know that he doted on her? What a big joke.

If she had seen with her own eyes how Richard Scott had treated her, she probably wouldn't have been able to say something like that.

"Miss Miller, please drink some water."

Summer Kent poured her a glass of boiled water and put it on the table in front of her.

Abby Miller nodded and thanked her again.

The secretary seemed to see that she had some doubts about what she had just said. She sat down in her seat and said to Abby Miller with a smile, "Miss Miller, you don't seem to believe me? I've been working for the president for many years. It's the first time that I've seen him care so much about a girl..."

The secretary paused for a moment, picked up her tea and took a sip. She smiled mockingly at Abby Miller, winked at her, and said, "What's more, the president has announced to the whole company that you are his fiancée."

What-

Abby Miller opened her mouth wide in surprise and her eyes widened. For a moment, she thought she had misheard.

Richard Scott announced to all the employees that she was his fiancée?

How was this possible?

In Richard Scott's eyes, there was always a contract between them. It was a kind of deal similar to business.

He had emphasized more than once that her existence was just a private item, an exclusive item.

After all, the contract would end one day. Why should he announce it publicly and let the whole world know that she was his fiancée?

In this case, once the contract was over, how could he explain it to everyone?

Richard Scott was not a fool. How could he not have thought of all these?

Why did he spend so much time doing such a thing that he knew there might be a lot of trouble?

For some reason, Abby Miller felt upset. She was no longer in the mood to chat with Summer Kent. She took a glass of boiled water and walked back to Richard Scott's office with her head down. She sat on the sofa and stared blankly.

After an unknown period of time, Richard Scott pushed open the door and walked in.

He looked at the stunned Abby Miller on the sofa, took off his suit jacket, hung it up, and sat behind the desk to start work.

Abby Miller turned to look at the busy Richard Scott.

It was said that serious men were the most handsome. At this moment, she agreed with this sentence very much.

He wore a pair of rimless glasses, rolled up the sleeves of his shirt, and revealed his wheat-colored arms. He slightly lowered his head, held a pen, read through the documents, and signed them. Sometimes he frowned, and sometimes he was lost in thought. The man exuded a kind of fascinating charm.

Abby Miller stared at him intently.

"Is there anything on my face? Or do you suddenly feel that I'm handsome and want to have something to do with me?"

Richard Scott suddenly raised his head. Although he was still expressionless, his eyes flashed with a playful light.

"No, I... I'm just a little bored. I have nothing to look at, so I can only look at you."

Hearing his words, Abby Miller came to her senses and explained in a hurry.

"Oh, really? Come closer and look at me." Richard Scott declared proudly.

"Ahem-what?"

Abby Miller's eyes widened and she almost choked to death.

"Come here."

Seeing that Abby Miller was sitting still, Richard Scott raised his head and spoke in a commanding tone.
