Her Majesty novel Chapter 40

With a creak, our car stopped safely outside the Jinghao Hotel. If it hadn't been for the temporary pull of the Sabina, I would have flown to the hotel.

I had a lingering palpitation, took a look at the Sabina, and vowed in my heart that I would not let Sabina drive again.

The security guard and waiter at the gate were stunned by our car and stared at us open-mouthed, as if we were some exotic animal.

Unluckily Sabina still was in all seriousness, got off the car, bent the waist and opened the door for me, taking me a powerful person.

I was embarrassed, at this time a waiter came and asked, “Boss, you have a trendy car, is it your own transformation? It looks so cool!"

I coughed awkwardly, whether he was telling the truth or not, handed him the car keys and said, "Please find a parking space for me," then fumbled in my pocket for a long time and found a crumpled twenty-dollar bill into his hand.

Waiter's facial expression changed instantly, looking at my eyes was like looking at a beggar, directly put the key and money into my hand again, and casually said, “Sorry boss, the parking space is full, there is a big supermarket in front. There is an underground garage. You can have the car parked there.

If it weren't for me to rush to do business, I really wanted to give him two slaps. I turned to Sabina and said, “Help me to park a car." And then I threw the key into Sabina's hand.

Just then, a man came out of the hotel, wearing a suit and tie, he was Mayor Chang's secretary.

The mayor's secretary saw me, hurried over, and said with a little complaint, "Why did you come so late? What time is it? They are waiting for you."

Then he looked at me again, frowning. "What's the matter with you, you're so dirty. Don't you know who you're meeting today?"

I couldn't even raise my head, and said with a smile, "Something happened on the way."

I glanced at the broken car. The mayor's secretary had understood what happened after he saw the car.

He took my arm and said, "Don't talk so much. Come with me to see the mayor."

As he passed the security guard, he pointed a finger at him and said, "You, go and park that car."

The face of the security guard suddenly turned into a bitter melon, Sabina smiled, and threw the key to him.

It was only a small interlude, and of course I didn't take it serious. There were bigger challenges ahead of me.

After I adjusted my clothes, the secretary led me to walk into the private room. There were three people sitting at the table, all of whom were old enough to be my father.

I knew Mayor Chang and John Jiang. The old fellow with a haughty spirit and a haughty face was probably the vice mayor of the city, Jacob Jiang.
