Hiding the Twins from Their Billionaire Father novel Chapter 156

Chapter 156 A New Life
Rowan's eyes lit up as he saw his great-grandson's messy writing. "Yes. He has worked hard to make this. I have to make it happen.”

Smiling, Rowan studied each page. Occasionally, he laughed at spelling errors or images next to the writing. When he arrived at the list addressed to him, his eyes sharpened.

“Visit the chocolate factory, go to the toy store, have a picnic in the park, tour the Savior, take Louis and Emily to school.”

Rowan's warm laughter returned to the air.

"Look how excited they are to spend time with me. I'm so excited too, Sean. I'm going to make it all happen then they can expand the list. My life is so much more colorful with them!"

With that enthusiasm, Rowan began to organize his new life. He could already imagine how happy it would be to enjoy the rest of his life with the sound of his great-grandchildren's laughter.

Louis smiled brightly when he found the chair designed especially for him. He liked it so much. It was perfect for the table at the cafeteria in the Savior office. "Wow, I think this cafeteria is much cooler than the one in the library."

"Yes, the menu is also more varied. I think the food here will be better. Am I right, Uncle?" Emily blinked at Jeremy.

Jeremy's heart warmed when he heard the call. The tension from the eyes of the people around him was now subdued. "I think you should try it yourself, Young Lady."

"Yeah, I really can't wait to try it. Look! Our food is here!" Emily's forefinger pointed.

Louis immediately turned around. A trolley came. There were lots of plates on it.

"Are these all your orders?"

Louis gasped as Kara suddenly sat next to him. Seeing his mother, he smiled awkwardly. "Mommy? I think you have a meeting with Daddy."

"This is your first time eating here. Of course Mommy can't miss it. Daddy will come. So," she looked at the dishes on the table, "who ordered this much?"

Jeremy pursed his lips, while Emily chuckled. The frown on Louis’ face never failed to amuse her. "I only order salad, while Uncle wants a chicken steak. Louis has the rest." She was ready to see her brother scolded.

"Louis, didn't we agree not to waste food? You should order what you need."

The boy's back straightened. His eyes widened. "Sorry, Mommy. I've tried to sort it out. But, everything looks delicious. I was also surprised to see this much food coming."

Kara looked at Louis more intensely. There was no sound, but the boy shrank. It made Emily laugh. "See? I reminded you, but you didn't hear."

Louis pursed his lips, warning his sister. A second later, he put on a pitiful look in front of his mother.

"But, Mommy, I promise no food will be wasted. I've worked hard earlier. My brain and stomach need nourishment. I can finish all this."

"You can’t make it a reason, Louis," Emily said with a faint smile. "I worked hard too, but I only ordered one menu."

Louis knitted his eyebrows again. "Really? What did you do this morning?"

"I could have just started designing straight away. But I thought the results would be optimal if I learned the basic theory first. So, I studied everything about making clothes. My brain feels full." Emily held her head with her two cute little hands.

Before the toddlers' argument heated up, Kara intervened. "Okay, since you two have worked hard, you can eat as much as you like. But, set aside two plates for Daddy and Mommy."

Instead of feeling relieved, Louis puffed out his cheeks. "But Mommy, can I try one spoonful of Mommy and Daddy's food? I'm curious."
