I Love You, Miss Genius (Bonnie Shepard and Ivor Knight) novel Chapter 251

Chapter 251

“What?!” Bonnie picked her ear and laughed, saying, “Xavier spent a billion on this ginseng, and you’re trying to buy it from with for fifty grand? You must have a screw loose, Vera.”

Avril and Kay echanged glances. They were speechless because of Vera’s outrageous demand. Vera was furious as she said, “Are you honestly asking for more? Do you know how critical the condition of Trina’s grandfather is? Saving his life is the right thing to do.

“I’ve done my part by offering fifty grand for the ginseng. I’m not even asking you to give it to me for free. You have your panties in a bunch.”

Bonnie could no longer bear her estranged mother. The former had decided to leave the Shepards because she knew Vera and Gresham’s character too well. Once she left, she would have nothing to do with them.

“Fuck this, Bonnie! I’m sorry, but she’s the biggest scumbag there is. I can’t stand her anymore. She’s the worst human being I’ve ever met.” Kay was so frustrated that she had to pat her chest to calm herself down.

Vera could not tolerate Kay’s insults. The former said, “I know you’re Master Orson’s granddaughter, Kay. Still, it doesn’t mean you can insult me.”

Kay retorted, arms akimbo, “Can you blame me? Even if Trina’s grandfather is ill, you can’t guilt trip Bonnie. She’s not obligated to save anyone in your family. Would you have demanded the ginseng if Xavier had it instead of Bonnie? You wouldn’t have guilt- tripped him, correct?”

Vera pursed her lips as her eyes reddened.

“I thought so. You wouldn’t dare if someone else had the ginseng. You’d never have offered fifty grand for it, either. You’re only doing it to Bonnie because you hate her. You never considered her your daughter.

“Whenever you see her getting something good, you try to snatch it. How can such a bitch like you become a mother? I’ve never met anyone so wicked. Bonnie must feel

humiliated to have a mother like you!” Kay was irritated.

Meanwhile, Avril resisted her urge to clap in delight.
