I Love You, Miss Genius (Bonnie Shepard and Ivor Knight) novel Chapter 305

Chapter 305

Bonnie turned and looked at the store owner. “A thousand dollars."

“Listen up, miss. You’re—"

Bonnie cut him off before the store owner could finish, “It'll be a hundred if you keep going. Have you ever seen a dog bowl worth a thousand dollars? I'll keep moving if you haggle over the price."

He realized Bonnie’s patience had worn out and was unhappy about it.

Still, a thousand dollars was a lot for a dogbow/l. So, he was still earning more than he could have bargained for. “Fine, fine. That’s just my luck.

A thousand, it is. Here, take it."

Bonnie paid the store owner, and Avril examined the bowl. The latter could not help but ask, “What do you want this dog bowl for?"

Bonnie was pleased with her purchase, saying, “That bowl was made in Emperor Gearoid Walshington’s Primordial Kiln. It'll be worth at least five million dollars if T put it up for auction."

Avril and Flynn’s eyes widened with surprise.

“I-Is this actually made in the Primordial Kiln? Are you toying with me?"

“She’s right. If this is an invaluable antique bowl from the Primordial Kiln, why would he use it as a dog bowl?"

Bonnie disdainfully looked at the store owner, whose face fell. “He doesn’t recognize its value and thought it was just a cheap bowl. He’s got no one else to blame but himself."

The store owner was beside himself with rage. “The deal’s off. Give it back!"

“We agreed on a price and made the transaction. You can’t take it back once you've sold it. That’s how it works in the antique ware circle.

Moreover, you meant trickle me. If logic prevails, people like you must’ve duped a lot of money from ignorant buyers. Be grateful I paid you a thousand dollars for it."
