“Hehehe!” Keenan laughed brazenly. “Age is catching up to you, Master Jim. Perhaps you should retire earlier, get married, and have a couple of rugrats. You can count on me to keep Ms. Bonita safe!”

“Listen up, you punk! I’ll beat you up the next time I see you!”

Bonnie found their conversation quite amusing. She looked at Jim in the video call and said, “Keenan has a point, Jim! You’re getting old, after all. What’s more, you said so yourself earlier. You’re the only grandson in your family. It’s high time you have a couple of babies.”

Jim didn’t have a good comeback for that.

After that, they chatted for a while before she hung up.

“Come on. We’re going to the mall.” She looked at Keenan and said.

He got worried about the idea. “Do you want to buy something? Just let me know, and I’ll buy it for you. Too many people are in the mall, and it’s hard to tell who’s who. What are we going to do if the person who wants you dead hides his men among the crowd?”

Her eyes were filled with humor. “Aren’t you here to keep me safe? What’s there to be afraid of? Don’t you have any confidence in yourself?”

“I have absolute confidence in myself, but that’s neither here nor there. You should just play it safe and avoid going to dangerous places.”

“All right, then.” She pretended to have accepted his explanation.

He was delighted to hear her response and sighed in relief.

‘It looks like Master Jim wasn’t entirely right about her. He told me Ms. Bonita is decisive and stubborn. Once she makes up her mind about something, no one can change her mind. However, it looks like she’s very understanding. Master Jim must’ve been tricking me, then.’

He was in the middle of thinking when she said, “I need some bras and underwear. I’ll tell you my cup size and hip size.”
