Invincible Heir novel Chapter 85

People sitting near Baron were all terrified and restless facing such a devil.

Notably, Wayne was even unnerved, as he knew Baron’s strength, but didn’t realize he was so powerful.

Also, Baron was bold enough to break Phillip’s wrist and beat the most excellent generation of the Brown family. All of such deeds were definitely an insult to them.

However, Baron lifted a glass of wine and took a sip.

Putting down the glass, he used his index finger to tap the door.

“Ding! Ding! Ding!”

The crisp sound acted like a demon in the air of serenity, piercing everyone’s heart.

“I will kill you!”

Shallot’s face bled and struggled to roar.

As the most excellent member of the Brown family as well as the would-be leader of the family, he was instead bullied by Baron who pressed his head against the table. What a terrible insult!

Then an old man in a suit hurried here and whispered Shallot, “Young Master, the banquet is ready now, and your dad has ordered that he will not leave easily after the banquet.”

Hearing the word, “dad”, Shallot suppressed his anger, and stared at Baron like seeing a dead person, “Cherish the rest of your life!”

Then Shallot went away and left a couple of stunned onlookers.

Henry gave Baron a serious look and came to realize that he was not the real garbage despised by others.

Phillip’s eyes turned red and the pain from the wrist nearly led to a coma.

Baron was merciless and Phillip’s wrist was nearly broken. The white bone could even be seen so that the hand would possibly have to be cut.

Henry understood that it was not good to see the blood at the birthday feast and the Brown family might therefore hate them. Henry decided to take him away in a hurry.

Baron was not flurried, as he came here for instigation, but he didn’t realize that the family was so tolerant. He had beaten the most excellent member of it and how could they refrain from dispelling Baron?

Wayne was restless. He knew Baron well, but he also got something clear: Baron and his mom were expelled from the Perry family years ago.

For him, the Perry family granted him the Brone Group as compensation only, and he already understood Baron’s hatred of the Perry family.

There was important cooperation between the Porter family and the Brown family. Baron surely offended the latter and he didn’t know his choice.

After the hesitation, Wayne smiled and rose to his feet, “Let me use the toilet.”

Getting outside, he hurried to dial a string of numbers and told William everything he knew.

After a while, William replied in a low voice, “You just need to keep silent. No matter what Baron does, you shouldn’t intervene, but you don’t have to shun away from him.”

“Grandpa, you mean I just keep silent?” Wayne got William’s point.

William said, “Right. Baron is young, but he is not a rude person. He is now the chairman of the board of the Brone Group, despite being expelled by the Perry family. It is difficult for the Brown family to take his life.”

“Okay, I will follow your words.” Wayne hung up the phone, got back to the hall, and continued to sit beside Baron.

Baron gently smiled at Wayne but said nothing. Wayne was instead astonished by this mysterious smile.

At that moment, the door of the banqueting hall closed slowly, and a birthday song sounded. The birthday banquet began.

An old man walked onto the stage slowly.

He was Kris Brown, the leader of one of the four families across Cona.

“Today is my 70th birthday, and I’d like to extend my gratitude to everyone who comes to attend the banquet.”

He walked to the stage and stood in front of the microphone. He smiled and said, “We have invited many prestigious guests besides the Brown family. Help yourself and have a good time.”

The crowd hailed and applauded.

Then it was time to send presents to him.

“Grandpa, I wish you a healthy and long life.”

Shallot held an old and simple sandalwood gift box and gave it to him deferentially.

The lid was open and there was an exquisite jade ring inside.

“Ha, ha, nice! I love Shallot’s gift.” Kris laughed and spoke.

Shallot was the first one to send the gift and this, to some extent, represented his role in the Brown family.

Then Shallot’s uncles and aunts came to send presents.

After that, it was the other guests’ turn. Various birthday gifts piled in front of Kris and any one of them was equivalent to a general household’s annual income.

However, Kris smiled lightly. Only Shallot’s gift was praised, while other gifts weren’t.

Meanwhile, Joker, who was severely kicked by Charles at the doorway of the Brown family, came in with a middle-aged person.

“Mr. Brown, wish you a healthy and long life.”

The middle-aged person near Joker held a jade flower pot, which had various petals carved with emerald.

John was too generous. It must cost tens of millions of dollars.

“It seems that the Warner family determined to follow the Brown family.”

The guests were surprised to see John’s gift.

Kris laughed loudly, “It is so kind of you!”

“Master, I have something to tell you,” John said all of a sudden.

“Well, what? Tell me.”

Much like the second-class family, the Warner family was really sincere to send the expensive gift, so Kris lived up to John’s expectation.

“Originally, I didn’t mean to disappoint you, but I have to tell you for fear that some gangster would slip into the hall.”

John bowed and hurried to say, “I come here from the airport and worry about being late for the feast, so I ask my son to greet you first, but he was beaten at the doorway of your family. The bastard also grabbed my son’s invitation card.”

“What? Unbelievable!”

Kris roared, “Who the hell dares to grab my invitation card?”

John takes a wink and Joker pointed at Baron and scolded him, “You bastard, come here to apologize. Damn it! You dare to sit!?”

Everyone looked at Baron who sat there with composure and they were surprised.

Baron broke Philip’s wrist under the spotlight, beat Kris’s favorite grandson, and pressed his head on the table.

Beyond their expectation, the invitation card was grabbed.
