Lenny and Scarlett novel Chapter 48

Lenny instantly fell in love with the feeling which also felt strangely familiar to him. It was as if he had savored and carefully explored Scarlet's lips before. Somehow, he remembered its beauty and sweetness.

Upon seeing what was happening, Drake was stunned. He couldn't believe that his boss and Scarlet were being intimate with each other.

He got out of the car quietly.

There were only Lenny and Scarlet in the car now.

Scarlet's mind went blank, and she didn't know what to do. As Lenny kissed her ever so deeply and passionately, she stared at him with eyes wide open. His face was just so perfect.

This man was truly and devastatingly dashing.

But what was going on now? What were they doing?

Scarlet suddenly thought of that fateful night. The kiss they shared that night was just as crazy and intense as the one they were sharing now.

But they had divorced. And Lenny was already in love with someone else.

She couldn't make more mistakes.

Scarlet snapped back to her senses and started pushing Lenny away.

However, the more she resisted, the more dissatisfied he got and the more he seemed to want to conquer her.

Her body seemed to have a fatal attraction to him, and he couldn't resist it.

Seeing that the situation was gradually getting out of hand, Scarlet gritted her teeth and bit Lenny's lower lip.

In an instant, blood filled their mouths, and the smell of rust became stronger and stronger.

The sharp pain jolted Lenny back to reality in the blink of an eye.

After Drake got back in the car, Lenny straightened his clothes and sat upright.

"Mr. Foster..." Drake started cautiously.

"Tell Marlon not to make the clothes anymore but compensate him for the trouble."

"Consider it done, sir."

"You know what, no, don't tell him that. Let him continue making the clothes, but tell him to assign a different person to deal with us," Lenny instructed. Why should he halt this business deal? Did he really hold a grudge against Marlon just because Scarlet liked him? It was ridiculous. He and Scarlet had already divorced. It was time for them to go their separate ways completely.

"Very well, sir," Drake answered in a low voice. "Where should we go now?"

"Back to the office. I'm busy these days. I won't be coming home to the villa for the time being. Please tell the servants to take good care of Rosaline."

"You got it, sir."

Meanwhile, Scarlet ran back to the studio, sweating profusely.

When Evie returned to the studio earlier, she received a call from Drake. He told her to inform Marlon to continue making the clothes and to assign a new liaison to the Foster Group as per Lenny's request.

The task naturally fell on Evie. She was the most suitable person for the job.

At the same time, Marlon also informed the whole studio about the developments in the Foster Group's order.

Her colleagues surrounded Evie and kept praising her. "You are so awesome, Evie. We heard that Mr. Foster asked you to deliver the clothes to him. Do you think he has a crush on you? Are you going to marry into a rich family?"

Hearing this, Evie felt her heart thump.

It was a vastly tempting idea.

She would love to marry someone like Lenny Foster, but she was already in love with someone else.

"Tell us, Evie, is Mr. Foster handsome?"

"Of course he's handsome."

Surrounded by the excited crowd, Evie raised her chin with pride.

When she saw Scarlet come back with her head down, she immediately stood up and walked over to her.

"I'll be Mr. Smith's assistant from now on, Scarlet. You should work hard and start from the bottom. It's true that you got Mr. Foster's order, but your subsequent performance was obviously not satisfactory. I advise that you not bite more than you can chew.
