Lost in Mr. Preston's Temptation novel Chapter 98

“This Dendrobium Orchid has participated in a competition and is worth more than two thousand dollars!” Clara tapped her lips with her hand and smiled faintly, “If the flowers are not enough, I still have this mouth.”

“Mr. Preston, I married you just to make your grandmother happy. I will do that.”

Ethan slightly knitted his brows at her sudden change of address, but he didn’t say anything.

At 6:40 pm, the car arrived at the Preston Mansion.

The Preston Mansion was located in the southernmost part of the city and was originally the residence of a high minister.

Later, Grandma Preston was tired of staying in the Sweetriver area and had wanted to come back to J city. She had relied on her acquaintances to procure the house and had asked a famous architect to rebuild it.

After that, Grandma Preston settled down here.

Every holiday, the other descendants of the Preston family would come here from the Sweetriver area to have a reunion dinner.

The car passed the gate and went towards the main house.

Clara noticed that there were sycamore trees lining both sides of the road, casting a shadow over the land but for some reason there was a faint aura coming from them.

When she asked Donny before what Grandma Preston liked, he had told her that in addition to Dendrobium Orchid, she also liked the sycamore tree very much.

I heard that there were very few sycamore trees in J city at that time. Grandpa Preston spent a lot of money to get the sycamore trees from the Sweetriver area to be transplanted here, just for the old lady to see them every day.

She never thought that there would be such a passionate man in a large family like the Prestons.

The guard had already sent a letter to the maid in the main house.

When Ethan and Clara got out of the car, several servants came out of the main room and walked quickly towards them.

“Mr. Preston, and his wife.”

Clara smiled at them and took the Dendrobium Orchid out of the car and gave it to a servant.

She followed Ethan into the house and heard faint footsteps.

As soon as she looked up, she saw a slender figure walking quickly towards her. Under the light purple dress, her stomach was bulging slightly.

The woman looked at Ethan with excitement. Her voice was gentle. “Ethan. “

Ethan answered lightly and was about to hand over his coat to the servant, but the woman reached out first, “Leave it to me.”

“Let me.” Clara took the coat from the man’s hand and hung it on the hanger.

Only then did Delores notice Clara’s presence. Her beautiful eyes flashed as she calmly withdrew her hand.

When Clara looked up and saw Delores, she was surprised for a moment, “Mrs. Clayton?”

“Honey, this is my teacher, Mrs. Clayton. When I was studying abroad in D country, I took several violin classes from her. I’m still a big fan of Mrs. Clayton,” Clara said excitedly. She changed her shoes and took Ethan’s arm as she entered the room.

After Clara finished speaking, she asked Delores, “But Mrs. Clayton, why are you here?”

Delores did not say anything as she quietly looked at Clara.

The servants on the side did not notice the confrontation between the two women and replied, “Ethan’s wife, this is the third eldest’s wife.”

“Is that so?” Clara raised her eyebrows and smiled faintly. “It turns out that Mrs. Clayton and the third eldest got married. What a coincidence. In the future, I’ll have to call you third sister-in-law.”
