Clarissa looked down, and fiddled nervously with her cutlery.

The reason Landon gave her that nickname was probably because the first time they met was at a primary school called Sunshine Elementary school. Back then, Clarissa was helping him fill up his gas. That was when they exchanged numbers. He probably labelled her as My Sunshine‘ back then.

“She‘s just sad, just let her cry.” Damien sounded like he was reprimanding Madelynn. “Have you been eavesdropping on their conversation?” Madelynn asked cautiously.

“No, but it just seems like they were having a heavy conversation just now.” Damien didn‘t spill too many details.

Madelynn didn‘t really care about what they were talking about, either.

Clarissa gave Leah a call, and asked her to pick them up from the restaurant.
