Loveless Marriage novel Chapter 179

Luke withdrew his gaze from Isabella and smiled faintly, "What do you need to tell me, Mr. Miller?"

Christian passed a piece of paper to him, "I've already booked a hotel for you. After you two get off the plane, there will be someone pick you up at the airport. This is the number of the driver."

Luke laughed involuntarily, "I accept you kindness, Mr. Miller, but I still have the money to pay for a hotel. You've already exempted the doctor's fee, so I owe you a big favour. After we return, I will definitely treat you a meal."

Christian glanced the bedroom and smiled, "You know I didn't meant to help you. I'll do it whether you accept it or not."

Luke's eyes flashed. He shook his head with a deeper smile and took the paper, "You're really considerate, Mr. Miller. If I wasn't standing in my position, I would definitely hope you to succeed."

Hearing this, Christian smiled faintly.

After Isabella came out from her bedroom, Luke had already left. She frowned in displeasure, "Why didn't you tell me when he left?"

Christian glanced at her coldly, then turned around and walked out, "Haven't you talked to him just now? He will come back anyway."

"…"

Isabella stared at his back, speechlessly.

She then went out with him.

Downstairs, she stared at the unassuming car in front of her, frowning. "When are you going back to Leeds?" She asked.

Wasn't he even busy? He had been back for a few days, but there was no sign of him going back.

"Tomorrow." Christian opened the passenger door and looked at her expressionlessly.

"…"

Alright, last time.

Gritting her teeth, she got into the car.

But this time, Christian didn't even look at her all the way until they arrived at the company. He even didn't say a word.

For some reason, Isabella felt that he was angry, but she had no idea why. His expression had been strange since he showed up in her apartment.

Of course, she wouldn't irritate him at this time. However, as soon as the car was about to arrive between the two company buildings, she shouted, "Stop, stop! I'll get off here!"

Christian's face immediately turned gloomy, but he still stepped on the brake.

There was only a heavy sense of suffocation on the car.

Isabella carefully looked at him, and said awkwardly: "So... I get off now. Thank you for sending me."

She undid her seat belt, stood up and was about to push open the door when a sudden force from her waist pulled her back.

The force was neither too light nor too heavy, but it still frightened Isabella.

Before she could react, the back of her head was clamped shut, followed by a warm gag.

Isabella, "..."

It could no longer be considered a kiss, neither gentle nor rough, but it was certain that he was biting her.

He seemed to be venting his anger.

He was indeed angry, but for no reason at all.

In such a narrow space, Isabella didn't struggle. Not until she felt some pain did she frown.

Christian finally let go of her. No anger could be seen on his face now, as if nothing had happened.

He only glanced at her red and broken lips, and said in a hoarse voice after she tided up her clothes, "Get off."

"…"

Isabella was so angry that she wanted to beat him up, but there was no time for her to do that. Isabella pushed the door and got off the car, closing it with a loud bang as to show her anger.

B*stard!

With her swollen lips, Isabella smiled awkwardly when someone met her. Without explaining anything, she immediately rushed to the bathroom to do some makeup, but she couldn't cover up the bulging part with lipstick.

Looking at herself on the mirror, she gritted her teeth angrily.

In the end, she could only pursed her lips and walk towards the office with a rigid face, causing everyone thought she was in a bad mood, not daring to greet her.

Suddenly, someone called out: "Oh, Miss Jones, what a coincidence. Did you bump into Mr. Miller on your way today as well?"

Isabella turned around and saw Heather.

It was indeed possible that she might saw something.

But she might also be just testing.

Isabella only smiled at her and nodded, without saying anything.

She hadn't forgotten about the wound on her lips. If anyone saw her, they would definitely gossip about her and Christian, even making up a novel about them.

Heather stood on the spot for a few seconds. Isabella left her an intense feeling of humiliation, causing her face to turn purple from anger.

Slut!

Who did she think she was!

The next few days, she was sent off to work by Canon. He tactfully parked the car far away, not bothering to talk to her, making it impossible for Isabella to find an excuse to chase him away. So she could only give up at the end.

"Isabella, there's a lady looking for you outside." John knocked on the door and said.

Lady?

Isabella raised her head from behind the pile of documents and frowned. She instantly guessed who that lady was as she nodded her head and replied, "I see. Go back to your work."

After saying that, she stood up and went out.

It seemed that she had no choice but to meet her this time.

In the company's service hall, she could see a noblewoman sitting on a chair from afar. She was elegant and dignified. Despite her old age, her makeup was meticulous and her hairstyle was neat and separate.

Seeing Isabella, she stood up and walked forward a few steps, looking down and up at her like a scanning machine. Finally, her eyes landed on her belly covered by coat.

"Mrs. Miller," Isabella's expression was indifferent, but she did not have any disrespectful attitude.

"Do you have time? I've booked a place in the café downstairs and I want to talk to you." Mallory smiled.

"If I say I'm not free, will you leave?"

"Yes, but I'll be back tomorrow."

"Then let's go." Isabella said.

Mallory stared at her extremely fast steps and frowned. Dissatisfaction flashed past her eyes. She then blamed Isabella, "Do you know that you are pregnant right now? You should be careful when walking. Slowly, what if you fall down? "

If they were really her grandsons, she would definitely be heartache.
