Married by Accident Taming the Billionaire (Cecilia) novel Chapter 392

Chapter 392 He's Too Many Things Wrong
Chris and Dana both guessed that nothing good was going to come from Cecelia's mouth.
"Dad, don't listen to Cecelia. She's a pot stirrer! She's full of bad ideas!"
Everyone glared at Cecelia while Fiona said, "Dad, let's listen to Cecelia's ideas. She might be able to solve this problem."
Alfred nodded and said, "Cecelia, say it!"
Cecelia laughed softly and said, "Granduncle, right now, Great-aunt Carol and Great-aunt Anisa can't get along. The best thing to do is not to let them meet."
"But Great-aunt Anisa has just married into our family. It'll be inappropriate if I ask her to move out again."
"For now, the best way is for our family to split up."
"To split up?"
Everyone was shocked at her words. Many people had thought about it over the years, but no one dared to mention it.
Alfred had said that as long as he lived, he wouldn't allow his children and grandchildren to split up.
"How long had it been since the Songo family split up? Now, Great-aunt Anisa and her son are here. They are also part of the Songo family, so they deserve the right to inherit. That is why I am suggesting that you redistribute the properties of the Songo family.
"If the families of your four wives live separately, they won't have to live opposite each other.
"Granduncle, you can live in whichever house you want. And every family is under your leadership and does not interfere with each other.
"If you are afraid of going through any trouble, you can divide the Songo mansion into two parts. Give one half of the mansion to Great-aunt Carol and leave the other half to Great-aunt Anisa.
"As for the two deceased grandaunts, you can arrange for their children and grandchildren to live in houses outside the Songo family.
"In this way, the number of people in the main house will be reduced. And it will save you the trouble. Your children and grandchildren will each develop their own businesses. And you don't have to worry too much. Wouldn't it be great that you only need to take care of yourself and spend time with my two great-aunts?"
After Cecelia finished speaking, the entire living room went silent. The atmosphere was eerie and frightening.
Queenie was not convinced and shouted, "What kind of lousy ideas are you talking about? Our Songo family is not going to split up!"
Then she complained to Alfred, "Grandpa, she's trying to split our family. Don't listen to her!"
Fiona interjected, "Cecelia's suggestion is quite good too. Our family should have split up a long time ago."
The entire Songo family began to talk. Some were in favor of the separation while others were against it. They were in an uproar.
Alfred was very disturbed by the bickering in front of him. "All right! Quiet down!"
The moment Alfred spoke up, everyone remained silent. Everyone looked at Alfred who was sitting in the hall.
"You people keep bickering all day long. It gives me a headache!"
Alfred said as he let out a deep breath. "Cecelia's suggestion is not a bad one. Since some of you want to leave the main house, and some of you don't. Let the majority decide. You all raise your hands. Let me see how many are in favor of splitting up the family."
The following people raised their hands. Almost the entire families of Alfred's second and third wives raised their hands.
"How many are not in favor of it?" Alfred asked again.
Only the family of Alfred's first wife raised their hands.
The number of those in favor clearly overwhelmed the number of those who were not.
Alfred nodded and said, "I know. I'm getting old. I can't control you guys anymore. We might as well split up!"
"Grandpa!"
"Dad! You have to think twice!"
Alfred's first wife's family objected, but Alfred made up his mind. "Tell the Songo family's lawyer to come this afternoon!"
Alfred gave the order and left the living room.
The family of Alfred's first wife pounced at Cecelia like hyenas.
"Cecelia! Haven't you gone too far? How dare you meddle in our Songo family's domestic affairs! How dare you try to divide our family?"
Queenie had long been fed up with Cecelia.
"Cecelia, we treat you as our relative, but you've gone too far!" Dana said nastly.
Chris said in a negotiating tone, "Cecelia, it won't be late if you go and convince your aunt and uncle now!"
"My advice is also for the good of the Songo family. Granduncle made a wise decision. As a part of the family, we should support his decision. Why should I try to persuade him?" Cecelia asked with a faint smile.
Fiona said, "Chris, it is imperative for us to live separately. Do you think we all want to live with you guys? Do you think we want to look at your faces every day? It's best if we live separately. We can all have our own place. We don't have to look down our noses at each other!"
"How could the Songo family raise someone as ungrateful as you?"
Chris scolded Fiona. Then, he walked out of the living room in anger.
"Who's ungrateful? If I'm ungrateful, you're a cruel black-hearted person!" Fiona yelled at Chris' back.
The Songo family was discussing the splitting up of the family, and Cecelia and Remington left the Songo family.
They received news that Spencer, the Songo family's old lawyer, was hospitalized after suffering a heart attack. Now, Spencer had finally woken up.
Cecelia and Remington arrived at the hospital and got to see Spencer in the ward.
The Lowell family was wary of their arrival, and Spencer's son blurted out, "We don't know anything. I want you to leave my father alone!"
Clearly, they have been instructed to keep their mouths shut. However, Cecelia didn't need any clues from Spencer. After all, she'd already found out everything she could about her grandmother's family.
Now, she had come to the hospital simply to visit Spencer.
"Mr. Lowell, we just came to see your father. After all, he and my grandmother used to be old acquaintances. We'll leave after we visit him."
Cecelia and Remington placed the fruit basket on the table in the hospital room. They came to the hospital bed and saw the old man say, "Hello, Mr. Lowell."
"Are you..."
Spencer thought Cecelia looked strange. Like he never knew her.
"I'm Cassie's granddaughter. My name is Cecelia. Do you remember Cassie?"
"Well..."
Spencer remembered. He remembered that he had received a call from the Songo family earlier reminding him of what happened. It turned out she was Cassie's granddaughter.
"Mr. Lowell, how are you? I was going to visit you last time I was back, but you were sick and in the hospital, so I put off coming to see you until now."
Cecelia and Spencer started chatting. When Spencer looked at Cecelia, Cecelia reminded him of Cassie when she was younger.
Spencer nodded and thanked her politely. Then Cecelia continued, "Actually, I already knew what happened at my grandmother's house. We've got it all figured out. You don't have to worry about anything. I didn't come here today to ask you about the past."
"You know all about it?" Spencer looked a little surprised.
"Yes. I have found Master Lennox of Longevity Temple. Do you know him? He told me everything. Unfortunately, he passed away."
Cecelia sighed. "I didn't realize the truth of the past would be as tragic as it was. My grandmother's family died so miserably. You know it well, don't you?"
Spencer had a frozen look on his face. He didn't know how to respond. Cecelia continued, "Those who commit crimes will be punished by God. The same goes for the accomplices. And the accomplices will not end up well!
"Even if nothing happens to the accomplice, his family will suffer retribution!"
Cecelia's words pierced Spencer's heart like a knife and shocked Spencer.
Spencer did become an accomplice after what happened to the Songo family. Not only did he hide all the evidence, but he also helped Alfred to make plans to confuse the public.
He did so many wrong things!
He did get what he deserved!
Two of his grandchildren died!
"No matter what, I will help my grandmother's family get justice! Even if it costs me my life, I'll make sure the wrongdoers get what's coming to them!"
After saying that, Cecelia stood up and said, "Well, Mr. Lowell, I hope you can live the rest of your life in peace! I'm leaving!"
As Cecelia walked to the door, Spencer finally spoke. "Miss, wait..."
