The chirping sound of the birds awoke sleepy Riel who sat up rubbing her groggy eyes , her eyes moved to the wall clock and she let out a loud gasp

“what the hell ” she cursed hurriedly as she dashed into the bathroom and began to finish her business , in no time she was done , she slipped into a black Denim leather pant and a white round neck top , she picked the cartoned color cost and went out of the room .

“ you are up so late Riel ” Mrs George said as she took a sip from the mo mug of coffee she held standing in tof he hall way

“ why didn't you stir me up atleast Mom ” Riel asked her Mom who let out a scoff before replying her “ I did not think I had to stir you up from sleep because you have deprived yourself from them lately ” Mrs George said as she handed her a pack chocolate , “ Make yourself one ” she added as she walked away while Riel sighed , dropped her bag on the couch and took a left turn into the kitchen door which was left ajar .

She grabbed a white mug , placed it on the counter , emptying the content , she poured warm water into the mug and reached for a silver tea spoon , and act which she regretted .

“ Fuck ! ” She cursed loudly as her Mom hurried into the kitchen

“ Why the hell did you scream so loud ? ” Mrs George asked with concern

“ I don't know tea spoons now give burns ” Riel said sarcastically while hissing in pain in response to the burning sensation

“ Did you touch it ? ” Mrs George asked gesturing at the tea spoon

“ Yes I did , any qualm ? ” Riel asked ignorantly

“ I thought I told you not to touch anything or have anything to do with silver so why did you touch it ? ” Mrs George queried

“ I needed something to stir my chocolate ” Riel responded immediately

“ Is there anything you are not telling me ? ” Riel added

“ Nothing ... It's nothing ” Mrs George stuttered as she proceeded to walk out of the kitchen when Riel's question made her stop

“ What's with the no silver items , why don't you want them ? ” Riel asked her as her Mom furrowed her brows

“ I don't want them ” Mrs George yelled

“ why don't you want them ? ” Riel fired

“ For our safety ” Mrs George yelled in response while Riel looked at her taken aback , for a moment she could swear her Mom's eyes changed from the lazy brown she used to know to flicking red and green

“ What's wrong with your .... yo..u..r eye..ba..lls ? ” she asked her mother in fright as Mrs George walked out of the kitchen in a jiffy while startled Riel dumped the mug of chocolate and headed for work lost in thought .
