Riel walked into the room furiously as tears dropped from her eyes steadily as she sat on the bed , recollecting memories of their being together , how Jackson Hewitt cared and loved her until she showed up , that she devil , Ashley Standford , Jackson's first love .-

“ Can we come in Mom ? ” Ivy and Leah asked in unison .

“ yes you can babies ” Riel replied from the other end as Sapphire turned the door knob and let the kids in . Riel quickly wiped her tears before facing her kids and letting out a smile .

“ Mom were you crying ? ” Leah asked looking concerned as she stared at her Mom's puffy eyes

“ No baby , I'm not ” Riel replied as she beckoned at them to come closer

“ Well we saw a bad guy smoking over the lawn this evening Mom , Sapphire closed the blinds immediately she noticed his presence , I was wondering who he was ” Ivy said blinking her eyes while she spoke.

“ he's nobody Ivy take it off your mind sweetheart ” Riel said smiling .

“ mom it's time ” the duo said together

“ Time to do what girls ? ” Riel asked looking confused

“ Today is the all girls night out Mom , you promised ” Ivy reminded her Mom

“ Ummmm..... I forgot about it babies we could go next time ” Riel said forcing a smile but this time it didn't get to the kids as they both frowned their faces and immediately Sapphire walked into the room with a cart containing Riel's luggage .

“ It's work again ” Leah mumbled sadly

“ I'm sorry girls , I promise I will make it up to you both ” Riel said coolly while Ivy scoffed

“ Not like you care Mom , it's always work work work ,only grandmother keeps time for hangout ” Ivy sneered angrily

“ Do not promise us you haven't kept any which you said you would either ” Leah added as Riel sniffed .

“ I'm beginning to think you are not our Mom ,I don't wish you a safe trip ” Ivy said walking out of the room.

“ You just created a scar Mom , I think you do not love us and I also do not wish you a safe trip , at least give us our Dad to keep us company since you are always busy ” . Leah added walking out of the room while Sapphire let out a gasp before following the kids suit .

Riel settled into the bed letting out the tears she has been trying to withhold , “ Fuck ...... why me ? ” She yelled as she angrily threw the vase which laid on the top of the table close to the lamp stand causing a loud crash sound as she yelled with all her might , but the noise remained in the four corners of the walls of her room . Angrily she reached for an alarm clock which rings , Jackson Hewitt had gifted her the Alarm clock on the eve of her getting this job as a special agent .

Fuming angrily she picked it up,her palm brushed the medal on the table , causing a burn she hissed painfully as she stared at the medal given to her in school for taking second place in the Marathon race .

She got up from the bed , opened the door and walked to her Mom's room but she didn't find her there instead she met her in the garden at the back of the kitchen .
