So I took off to the place, I got to my ex boss's boss house and got the instinct of going to see him before I started the other job and if he still insisted on sacking me, I would leave him be. I got to his gate and rang the bell but no one answered, it was odd as it was a big mansion. So it is wasn't normal that no one answers the bell when he had several servants in there.

I was about to turn to leave when I smelt blood from the place.

My wolf purred in me but I on the other hand wanted to avoid trouble but he stubbornly insisted that I enter the house. I stood there and looked for means to enter and saw that there was a particular tree that almost joined the wall to itself.

So I had to jump quite high to get it without getting shocked by the electrical poles on the wall. I got to the place and aimed for the tree, as soon as I jumped, my wolf took place of me and before I knew it, I was inside the house. But my wolf wasn't ready to leave me yet, so we walked to the back of the house and the closer we got, the more blood we smelt.

But as we got closer that scent came our way blue ixora, we licked our lips interested in the matter and the person ahead of us. We got to the window and stopped immediately, a lady was fighting with some men in the house. And she wore a mask and had tied her hair like the lady from the forest but the mask was the one that had rescued Leo.

I was confused and started putting things together. But no matter what I thought, I couldn't follow but of the way my heart was beating heavily and my lust was growing stronger as we watched her. The pain in the injury in our leg relaxed as we relaxed and watched her fight. I then told my wolf to allow me take his place so I could fight with her since the men outnumbered her.

But then he disagreed and then purred loudly,

“Mate! she's our mate!”

I forcefully took over and looked at her closely, the lady who had shot us in the hand was my mate? I thought of it and decided to leave her business to her because somehow I was angry that she had hurt me when I had done her no wrong. I took a few steps forward and my wolf also took full control of me once again and before I could do anything, he had jumped through the glass window. We then stood in front of her as he growled and guided her, she looked at us astonished.
