Mistaken Identity novel Chapter 39

Kalliyah's POV

I can't believe her placed a blindfold over my eyes. I'm currently in the car playing with my fingers thinking where he could possibly be taking me to. We already had dinner on the boat and that was beautiful. Was he taking me to the movies? No, he wouldn't blindfold me. I'm so excited. This is our second date. I've being so happy recently. I can't believe he asked me to stay. It was the best feeling ever. I was so happy because I really wanted to stay and now I will be staying. Alex is a good guy and he deserve a chance. It's not like I can say no to him anyways. I'm in love with him, crazy in love with him.

"Hey, what are you thinking about?" I heard Alex said, he placed his hand on my thigh, at first I tense up but I knew he wouldn't do anything to make me feel uncomfortably. So I calm down. We are taking things slowly even though I was already in love with him. I'm just waiting until he feels the same.

"Uh, I'm okay. I'm curious where to where you're taking me."

"Well, you'll know in a minute because we're here." I heard him took the key out of the engine. I didn't even feel it when the car stop, I guess I was deep in my thoughts. He came out of his side of the car. He opened the door for me and held my hand to help me out. As I exit the car I heard noise and a lot of noise. It was even noisier than New York.

Alex came behind me to take off the blindfold. "Don't open your eyes yet." After he took of the blindfold I kept my eyes shut. He placed his hands over my eyes. "ONE, TWO. OPEN." Then he release his hands. When I looked around me I was shock. This was the last thing I was expecting. I was expecting a candle lit dinner, but this was the opposite.

"An amusement park." I said excitedly. The last time I was at a carnival was when I was in college and that was years ago. I turned and rapped my hands around Alex. " THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU." He laughs.

"I guess, you like it then," he said.

"Like it? I love it. This is the best date ever." I said smiling at him.

"You're welcome. Come lets join the line and buy the tickets." We walked to long line that was full of person and started to wait but Alex looked irritable so he turned to me. "Stay right here, I'll be back." He left me at the back of the line as he made his way to the top. I had no idea what his plans was but I saw him started to the man in station. The man laughed and they shake hands. Alex starts walking back to me. When he reach he tugged my hands lightly and tell me to come with him. The next thing I know what that we at the front of the line with Alex ordering the tickets. I guess, this some of the perks of being rich. I looked behind me and saw that some of the other customers we're happy at all. They were sending us glares. I guess someone them didn't like what just happened and I'd be like them too if someone just came and was getting served first just because he was rich. I sighed I guess no matter how rich you are, they are going to be ups and downs. After Alex got the ticket, he put his hands around my waist and start walking away from the line.

"Which ride do you wanna go first?" Alex said breaking silence.

"I want to go on the Carousel, first." I said smiling up at him.

He looked at me with raised brows. "How old are you again?" he asked rhetorically but I felt like answering so I did.
