My Disabled CEO Stood up And Kissed Me (Natalie) novel Chapter 49

Chapter 49 Did I Bite You

"?"

Natalie was totally confused.

"Last night, you bit me!"

Kendrick seemed to have deliberately emphasized the words "you" and "me".

Why did he just stress those two words?

She put her finger on her nose in disbelief and asked, "Me?"

Had she done something like that?

Why did she have no recollection at all?

Kendrick's eyes were fixed on her, making her guilty. Immediately she lacked confidence and then she asked him cautiously and tentatively, "Really? Did I bite you?"

He stretched out his hand and made the neck of his clothes open. He pointed to his collarbone, "Here. You bit it too!"

Last night, she sat on his lap, extravagant in behavior. She was unconscious, having no idea how attractive she looked and what a little minx she was.

She squinted. Her vision was rather nice, and she seemed to see the teeth marks on his collarbone.

She could deny the wound on his lips. As for the mark on his collarbone, however, she just couldn't.

For a moment, she buried her head in her hands.

As she later realized that something was wrong that night, she poured cold water on herself desperately. But she just didn't remember what happened afterwards.

What had she done on earth?

Did she behave like a hoodlum again?

"I don't remember anything!" Natalie approached him to have a look, and then retreated back and sat up straight. She asked, "Do you want... to return the bite?"

Kendrick lowered his eyes. He put his hand on his inner brows and raised his head quickly, "I have something to ask you!"

She had her head down.

She guessed she would be taught a lesson with no escape.

"Where did you go and what did you do yesterday?"

She was silent, trying to organize her words.

Seeing that she had no reply, he was emotionless, but his tone was filled with threats, "Are you sure you want me to investigate?"

Certainly it would be difficult to keep back something like that from him.

She had no intention of hiding it.

"Well!" Her face puffed up, "I'll tell you myself!"

"Nora wanted to see me to discuss the compensation and sign the statement. You know, I'm so clever, and I know she must have bad intentions! So I asked Brock to help me because I wanted to know in advance what she was going to do!"

"What did you ask Brock to help you then?"

"To monitor her movements." Seeing that there was coldness in his eyes instantly, Natalie moved on, "I just wanted him to keep an eye on Nora for me, but I never expected that he was so capable that he got all the recordings of their conversations. Well, your man is rather awesome. Certainly it must be your credit, as you are so amazing."

Kendrick didn't take her flattery seriously. He remained his poker face and said in a muffled voice, "Just get to the point!"

"Nora wanted to inject the drugs to me for a paid live broadcast, well, something like a dark web." She explained specially, "I pretended to be unconscious and fool her. She was so stupid that she didn't even know how to use the syringe. She gestured on my arm for a long time but had no idea where to inject the drugs. Finally, I just pushed the syringe into her arms instead! Haha!"

Natalie was rather proud.

She even laughed.

She didn't notice that his handsome face had collapsed.

And she still laughed!

How dared she?

"And then I ran away and left her alone!"

It was such a witty and fearless story.

"You're quite proud, aren't you?" Kendrick stared at her with an enigmatic visage.

She was much more than that, wasn't she?

Very proud indeed.

He felt she even wanted to publish a book about the story.

But she found at last that there was something wrong with his voice, and that there was great coldness in him.

"I'm not." Natalie suppressed her complacency and sat down quietly.

"Did I tell you not to put yourself in danger at any time?" Finally, he couldn't hold back his anger and pounded the armrest of the wheelchair, making her stumped.
