Chapter 790 Wine In, Truth Out 

Saylor sighed with emotion. 

Violet just looked at him coldly. 

At this moment, Ethan helped Saylor out of a jam. "Are you sure to eat spicy food at noon?" 

Saylor was so clever. 

Hearing Ethan's words, he immediately turned his head to look at him and said, "I'm sure to eat spicy food at noon. I've been wanting to eat it for a long time." 

Ethan smiled and nodded. "Okay, then we'll eat spicy food." 

Half an hour later, they arrived at the spicy food restaurant. 

Ethan parked the car, and Saylor and Violet got out of the car one after the other. 

Saylor took advantage of the opportunity that Ethan didn't get off to whisper to please Violet. 

Violet asked Saylor not to treat Ethan as his brother-in-law and told him that they were not a couple. 

Saylor joked, "I think it would be great if Ethan were my brother-in-law." He continued, "When you were drunk at the class reunion last time, you hugged a telegraph pole on the side of the road and called Ethan's name all night. No one will believe that you don't like him."

When the two were deadlocked, Ethan got out of the car and walked towards them. 

Saylor walked quickly up to Ethan and put his arm around Ethan's neck. However, he was not tall enough and had to stand on tiptoe. He said, "Ethan, this lunch is on me. I'll pay the bill." 

Ethan chuckled and looked sideways at Saylor. "Why are you so generous?" 

"It's nothing. After all, we're a family, and it doesn't matter who pays." 

Ethan raised his eyebrows and looked at Saylor. "You have a favor to ask of me, right?" 

Saylor lowered his voice and said, "It's a trivial matter, and it just needs your little effort." 

Ethan smiled and directly refused. "I won't help you." 

Saylor was stunned and asked, "Why?" 

Ethan said solemnly, "It's not appropriate for me to help you." 

Saylor was speechless. 

Seeing Saylor no longer speaking, Ethan slowly said, "If you were really my brother-in-law, I'd clean up your mess no matter how bad it was, but you're not..." 

Saylor understood Ethan's meaning immediately and winked at him to show his loyalty. "Ethan, you should be very clear about my attitude towards you. In my heart, I don't recognize anyone as my brother-in-law but you." 

Ethan joked, "But it's useless." 

Saylor got a little closer to him and asked, "What about Violet admitting you're her boyfriend?" 

"If she admits it, I'll clean up all your mess as long as you don't commit a crime." 

Saylor's eyes lit up when he heard the words. "You'll never go back on it, will you?" 

"Of course not." 

When Violet looked at the two men talking in whispers not far away, her eyelid was twitching. She felt that they were planning something to do with her. 

After a while, the three of them walked into the spicy food restaurant. 

The lobby manager was their acquaintance, Matthew's man. He made a small mistake, so he was transferred to this spicy food restaurant. 

Ethan joked that Matthew was going to monopolize the catering industry in Cocanel. 

The manager smiled but said nothing, leading Ethan and the others to the private room. 

Along the way, he flattered them, saying that Ethan and Violet were well-matched. 

While talking, they arrived at the private room. The three of them had their own thoughts during the meal. 

Halfway through the meal, Saylor got up and asked the waiter for two bottles of plum wine. 

While pouring Ethan some wine, Saylor said, "Ethan, just drink, and I'll be the driver later." 

Ethan lowered his eyes, glanced at the wine, and tapped his slender fingers on the glass. 

Seeing Ethan silent, Saylor poured Violet some wine and said, "Violet, this is a low-alcohol wine, and it won't make you drunk. Taste it." 

Saylor was worried that Violet would not drink, so he added, "It's sweet."
