"Violet, what are you doing?"

Ethan was blocking the door in his pajamas. Raising his eyebrows, he looked at Violet, who was going to sneak away with a suitcase.

Violet took a deep breath and replied, "I told you yesterday that I am moving out."

"I remember I said no. Why? After you kissed me yesterday, you're going to run away today, aren't you?"

With a smile, Ethan leaned against the door and stared straight at Violet.

He had been not sure about Violet's feelings for him before, so he coaxed her cautiously, for fear of scaring her away.

However, he didn't worry about anything now, because he knew Violet was actually not afraid of him at all.

Violet clenched the luggage handle and said, "No, I'm not."

"Ethan, I was drunk yesterday, so don't take what I said seriously."

Ethan narrowed his eyes and walked to Violet. "Don't take it seriously?"

"Violet, I don't need you to pretend to be gentle, well-behaved, or sensible. I just need you to do one thing."

For every step Ethan took forward, Violet took a step back.

After Ethan finished speaking, Violet had no place to move back and was sandwiched between him and the entrance cabinet.

She didn't dare to look up, for fear of looking into Ethan's deep eyes.

Ethan lifted Violet's chin, forcing her to raise her head.

"Be honest, Violet. Don't lie to me. Do you really not like me at all?"

Violet finally looked into Ethan's deep eyes, full of restrained love.

She loosened the luggage handle for a second and then clenched it again.

About five minutes later or maybe even longer, just when Ethan was about to make a compromise again, Violet finally grasped his wrist and threw herself in his arms.

Ethan was taken aback for a moment and then held her waist.

He hugged Violet extremely tightly.

"Violet, be my girlfriend, okay?"

Ethan chuckled, "Violet, come with me to see Grandpa, okay?"
