My Quick-witted Baby (Arabella and Kenneth) novel Chapter 286

Chapter 286

She sat up, got off the bed, and gently hugged his slender waist from behind.

Feeling the soft body behind him, Kenneth instantly froze. He quickly turned around and said, "Why did you get out of bed? I haven't finished sweeping the glass shards on the ground. Go back. Otherwise, they may hurt your feet."

Arabella did not let go. She raised her pale pretty face to look up at the handsome man and said, "Mr. Lucero, let's not quarrel in the future, okay?"

Complicated emotions welled up in Kenneth's eyes when he held her small face with his big hands and hoarsely said, "I'm sorry. Did I say a lot of hurtful words just now?"

"Yeah! You said you have no shortage of women. Many women are prettier and better than me. So, you will abandon me if I don't obey your orders. And you falsely accused me of having an affair with Tyrone and firmly believed I cuckolded you although I denied it. You even said you would divorce me and let me marry..."

Kenneth leaned over and gagged her little mouth with his lips before she could finish speaking.

Gloomy and violent emotions had controlled him just now, so he didn't know what he had said. Hearing her repeating his words, he thought he was a jerk.

He tenderly kissed her, intending to express his guilt in the kiss. And her little hands were tightly grasping his black shirt.

After loosening her red lips, he pressed his face against hers, affectionately rubbed her nose with his, and hoarsely whispered, "Every time I see you with other men, I feel like going crazy and can't control myself. When I saw Tyrone hugging you at the research institute, I wanted to kill both of you and destroy this world. Sometimes, I am in fear of myself. Bella, I can't even promise you this is the last time. Are you afraid of me?"

Looking at his gloomy face, Arabella stood on tiptoe, quickly kissed his thin lips, and said, "I'm not afraid. I've long told you that I'm not afraid of you at all!"
