I never thought I'd be related to those big shots. But that's what happened, I married a Beta!

I force down the shock that’s about to emerge on my face and maintain my composure which is on the verge of breaking. I pretend to be calm and laugh dryly.

"Haha, that's awesome, haha."

Ziv smiles.

"You do not need to be nervous. Beta is just a job. I am not as rich as you think. But don't worry, there's no problem paying for our expenses."

I shake my head and say in disagreement, "I didn't say I will depend on you to support myself. I was just surprised at your…job."

He is about to say something else but the doorbell rings and the doctor arrives.

After examining Kelly, the doctor attaches her bone and put it in a cast. Her injuries are severe but thankfully there are no lingering effects.

I finally relax my nerves.

When the doctor left, it was already 9:30 pm.

"Are you tired? Wanna go to sleep?" Ziv asks.

Zane's POV

I like Violet a lot, but I can't reveal my true identity to her just yet.
