The general manager sensed a sudden chill in the air and cautiously glanced at Kevan, only to find that he was staring at Lotus. His gaze was ominously dark and unsettling.

Lotus sneered. “Isn’t she just some random woman who suddenly gels all the credit? Why did they make it such a big deal? That woman is from Covenford, for heaven’s sake. Honestly, I bet the hotel in Covenford must have bribed the press. Otherwise, why are the other renowned hotels facing criticism while they remain unscathed?”
“I agree! It’s outrageous that they were invited to train us just because they bribed the press to be on the good list. Don’t they feel
ashamed?”
“I mean, the general manager should also be blamed. He could just warn us and let us rectify our issues. How could he allow the people. from Covenford to come and make fun of us? I’m just mad thinking about it.”

Kevan turned to leave after hearing that. The general manager panicked, and he wanted to reprimand the staff from the housekeeping department. However, he swiftly gathered himself and hastened to catch up with Kevan.
“Mr. Rogers, please allow me to explain.”
Kevan stopped before the elevator and pressed the button. “No need. I’m very clear about the housekeeping department’s stance on this issue. You don’t have to provide me with the report. Just send me your resignation letter.”
Instantly, it seemed as if the blood had drained from the general manager’s face. “Mr. Rogers!”
He had the urge to seize Kevan’s arm and plead for mercy, but he realized it would only exacerbate the situation. “I have strongly criticized the housekeeping department for their mistakes! The general manager moved his lips, yet no words emerged, and he eventually lowered his head in shame.
“Why is it that the staff at the Covenford branch can adhere to the company’s strict rules, but you all seem incapable of doing so? Now that this matter has been exposed, none of your employees are even showing a willingness to learn or change. They are even deliberately bullying a colleague who came all the way from Covenford to help out. With such corrupt management in place, it seems necessary to start afresh and clear out everything.”
The elevator arrived just as Kevan linished speaking, and he promptly stepped inside.

“Presidential suite,” he stated while presenting his identification card and black card to the staff at the front desk.

Larissa finally get the chance to ask Kevan after they left the front desk. “You didn’t find Lotus?
I found her,” Kevan said with a dark expression.
“Then, why did you come down alone? Also, why are you taking away my suitcases? I need to wait for Lotus to pick me up.”
“You don’t need to wait anymore.” Kevan said directly.
“You can rest. I have some matters to discuss with her. Let me deal with her, and you guys can chat later.”
