Chapter 103 Accidentally Pregnant 

Lysander nodded. 

When Fred had sent her the address, she had already begun to regret it. 

She really didn’t want to visit that place for a second time. 

However, Fred sincerely needed her help, akin to an old father marrying off his daughter, both anxious and helpless. Hearing that softened her heart, and she genuinely couldn’t bring herself to refuse. 

However, she was alone and feared she wouldn’t be able to handle it. 

The concept of marriage necessitated a social butterfly to hold court, and with Fred’s encouragement for her to invite more friends, Daphne immediately sprang to her mind. 

Lysander asked, “Ms. Everhart, are you free this weekend?” 

Surprisingly, Daphne snorted. “I sure do. Why wouldn’t I be? I would like to meet Dr. Ziegler’s daughter too. I wonder if she’s extremely short-sighted.” 

“I smell a story.” – 

Daphne said in annoyance, “I also received a wedding invitation, same time and place.” 

There was no doubt that Daphne didn’t know Fred, which left only one possibility. The invitation Daphne received must have come from the groom himself. 

Thus, Lysander asked, “Who?” 

“Harry,” answered Daphne. 

Astonishment consumed Lysander completely. “Who did you say?” 

“Hahaha, who else could it be? It’s none other than my ex-boyfriend, the scum of the earth. He was the reason both of us failed our college entrance exams, and in the end, he managed to secure a recommendation to Apex University, ranking third in our entire grade.” 

Lysander was completely distraught. Fred is a decent man. If his daughter were to marry

She was somewhat worried. 

Daphne said, “Never mind, I hadn’t planned on going initially, but since you’re going too, I might as well check it out. If he has turned over a new leaf, then I wish the bride a happy marriage and a quick blessing of a child. However, if he’s still a scoundrel, I’m going to step in and rescue the damsel in distress right then and there.” 

The wedding date was set for Sunday. 

Lysander and Daphne arrived at five in the morning. 

After they got out of the car. Daphne said. “You go ahead and find Dr. Ziegler. I’ll park the car. We’ll

Lysander rushed straight to the makeup room, where Fred had opened the door for her. “Lysander! You’ve finally arrived. Come in quickly, come in.” 

Fred’s daughter, who appeared to be in her early twenties, was seated in front of a mirror, applying makeup. Her age was one of innocence and charm. 

When Fred’s daughter saw Lysander, she flashed a smile. “Hello, Lysander.” 

Lysander responded with a laugh. “You know me?” 

“Of course I know who you are. My dad always mentions you. He says you’re the star of their hospital. Who knows. I might need your help soon.” 

Immediately, Lysander discerned the hidden meaning in the conversation. Her eyes briefly swept over the young woman’s abdomen, which seemed fairly flat at the moment. 

Fred quietly told her, “She accidentally got pregnant and was worried that as the months passed, she wouldn’t be able to fit into her wedding dress. That’s why everything was prepared in a hurry. I didn’t even have time to ask someone to be her bridesmaid. That’s why I called you over today at the last minute.” 

Lysander felt a bit of pity. “Indeed, it is somewhat rushed.”
