“Lysander! How dare you….” 

Lysander had already put down the empty cup, and replaced it with a full one, holding it in hand. She looked at her coldly. “Go on. This cup is still warm.” 

The laboratory was in the lobby on the first floor, usually bustling with people. Hearing the commotion, a crowd quickly gathered. 

Lysanne couldn’t swallow this insult. She stepped back cautiously, turning around for help. “Harry! Save me! Harry!” 

No one responded. 

No one showed up. 

Lysanne was infuriated, gritting her teeth. “Harry, you coward. I am standing up for your family, and you don’t even dare to come out. Are you even a man?” 

Still, no one responded. 

Seeing Lysander about to douse urine all over her again, Lysanne turned and ran. “Just wait! I’ll go back and tell Josiah. He needs to know what kind of person you are!” 

Seeing her running out of the crowd, Lynn felt unsatisfied. “Dr. Thorne, why didn’t you continue?” 

Lysander placed the urine cup back in the tray and said firmly. “She has backed down, and that is enough. If things escalate, and it gets out that a doctor is splashing a patient’s urine, what will become of me?” 

Lynn stuck out her tongue. “You’re right.” 

She went to check the empty cup that Lysander had just used. “Don’t worry, Dr. Thorne, I’ll ask uh, Winona to provide another urine sample.” 

Lysander couldn’t help but smile. “No need.” 

“Huh? Is it okay to skip an examination?” 

Lysander pointed to a stack of test reports on the nearby table. The first one was Winona’s. 

Lynn chuckled. “You checked it before using the urine. You deliberately chose the ones that were already 

tested.” 

“Of course. Pregnant women are sensitive and prone to worry. She will surely worry if a doctor asks for an extra urine sample without reason.” 

Lynn looked at Lysander, her admiration for the latter increasing. “Dr. Thorne, you’re amazing. Ms. Lysanne thinks just because she’s pregnant, everyone has to give in to her. This method won’t harm her and will teach her a lesson. It’s simply brilliant! How did you come up with such a good idea in such a short time?” 

Lysander replied calmly, “It’s not impulsive. I’ve been thinking about doing this for a while.” 

Lynn was astonished.

Lynn shook her head vigorously. “No, of course not. She ruined someone else’s family and stole someone else’s husband. Splashing her with urine is the least of what she deserves.” 

Lysander lowered her gaze slightly and said softly, “I simply detest her.” 

At noon, Lysander received a call from Josiah. 

It wasn’t much of a surprise. 

“Did you call to confront me?” 

But Josiah asked, “Confront you about what?” 

“Didn’t Lysanne tell you anything?” 

“What did you say? What did she do after I left?” 

She hasn’t told him? She’s always threatening to tell on me, so why hasn’t she said anything yet? 

“What do you want from me?” 

Josiah took a deep breath. “Tell me, has she caused trouble for you again?”
