Lysander sneered. “I appreciate the reminder, but you might want to remind Mr. Guerra on something. else instead. We should get a divorce soon. He needs to set a date and sign the agreement as soon as possible.”
Lysanne feigned innocence and hastily clarified, “Oh, Dr. Thorne, you’ve misunderstood. I sincerely. brought the mushroom soup to help with your health. I wasn’t trying to urge you into getting a divorce.
“You know full well whether or not that is your intention.”
Josiah reached out to pull Lysanne. “Let’s go.”
Lysanne shook off his hand and sat back down.
Lysander raised an eyebrow. “Do you have anything else to say, Miss Thorne?”
Lysanne beamed, tilted her head, and gently caressed her stomach. “Dr. Thorne, may I add you on WhatsApp?”

I cant get over the fact that the writer is trying to show as if the male lead has committed a grave sin. First he didnt know she was pregnant because she never told him. Second right from the start she never communicated anything. She was unbothered even during her marriage. I am not saying the male lead is great but atleast he seems like a human with emotions unlike her. And there is no context for why she is so emotionless....
The female lead is not charming but an unbothered b word, there is a very big difference. There is no point of extending this story at all because even if you write 1000+ chapters at 1001 the male lead would still be doing everything for her and she wouldnt bat an eye even if someone killed him. I mean honestly either the start should have been written better where we do understand that she was deeply affected because of her divorce or just STOPPPPP. Even for fiction it is annoying....
