Josiah directly took the phone from her hand without any politeness. “Move aside.”
Lysanne muttered, “Can’t you speak nicely? I’m pregnant. Be mindful of your tone.”
“All right, Miss Thorne. Please leave here and clear the way in front of the door, can you?”
“Josiah, stop being sarcastic with me!”

He grabbed her arm and pushed her out, then opened the door and walked out.

Josiah turned and left.
She added, “I’ve put everything in the big cardboard box on the balcony. Just take it down and throw it away.”
He couldn’t even be bothered to respond. After changing his clothes, he went straight to the balcony.
There was a large box on the balcony; but it didn’t seem to contain trash. Instead… there were a lot of daily necessities.
Most of them were women’s clothing. He recognized them at a glance. They all belonged to Lysander. She hadn’t had the chance to take them away yet.
In addition to clothes, there were also the plush toys she had collected before, as well as the succulents she had raised and even the fish she had raised.
It was dead.

Josiah chuckled in frustration. “You didn’t even consult me and you just sold them off on your own?”
“What was there to consult you about?” Lysanne chuckled. “From childhood to adulthood, haven’t you. always followed my lead?”

I cant get over the fact that the writer is trying to show as if the male lead has committed a grave sin. First he didnt know she was pregnant because she never told him. Second right from the start she never communicated anything. She was unbothered even during her marriage. I am not saying the male lead is great but atleast he seems like a human with emotions unlike her. And there is no context for why she is so emotionless....
The female lead is not charming but an unbothered b word, there is a very big difference. There is no point of extending this story at all because even if you write 1000+ chapters at 1001 the male lead would still be doing everything for her and she wouldnt bat an eye even if someone killed him. I mean honestly either the start should have been written better where we do understand that she was deeply affected because of her divorce or just STOPPPPP. Even for fiction it is annoying....
