The Peremptory Casey Davies novel Chapter 41

It didn’t take Morgan long to bring back a few strong tattooed fellows for Casey.

"Casey, what's wrong, didn't he give you the money?" Morgan asked.

"This man is a cheat. He fooled us yesterday. It’s useless to reason with him. I can only rely on you guys." Casey smiled bitterly.

"Damn, how dare he fool my man Casey. Leave it to me. I will have this old guy beaten up." Morgan waved his fist.

“Be careful, he is over fifty years old, and if you don’t pay attention, his medical restitution might be much more. Just try to scare him and let him pay all the money back." Casey said.

“I got you Casey. Don’t worry, you just need to wait here, we will go up now." Morgan said confidently.

Casey nodded as he watched Morgan and his men enter the community.

Morgan was really a helpful man, but he had a bad temper and was born to be aggressive. He could be a good sword, but never a general.

Now that Casey wanted to unify the underground world of J City, he must find someone who could plan for the overall scheme. Although Morgan was one of the three underground kings now, he was not good at being a leader at all.

His duty was to follow and fight behind Casey. In the past few years, if it wasn’t Casey who made plans for him, he couldn’t even be one of the three kings.

Also, judging from Morgan’s personality, he wouldn’t like to be a leader either. Morgan had told Casey a long time ago that he would rather be a local roughneck than become a leader.

Since he couldn’t find the right candidate, Casey didn’t rush to eliminate Alfred, who was also one of the three underground kings.

“No hurry, it’s hard to find such a talent." Casey shook his head and stopped thinking about it.

Dempsey Wong was sitting on the sofa and watching TV leisurely with his legs folded together.

After coming back yesterday, he had realized that Amara wouldn’t ask him for money again, so this TV became his private property.

"Casey is such a useless person. Fooled by me like that, he dared not to complain at all. Now Amara must be thinking that this TV was broken by Casey, who could never explain this clearly."

"It's fun to run into such a coward. I should find another chance to fool him again."

Dempsey Wong was quite self-conceited, since he successfully blamed everything on Casey and also gained a TV for nothing.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.

Dempsey hurriedly turned off the TV, worrying that Amara would actually come back to check if the TV was broken.

He immediately came up with some countermeasures. He pretended to be angry when he walked to the door, and said, “I told you it was Casey that broke the TV. Come in and take a look if you don’t believe me!"

But when he opened the door, he found that it was not Amara, instead, it was a young man with short hair. Along with him were several tattooed men standing behind, which frightened Dempsey.

"Who...who are you looking for?" Dempsey's voice trembled.

He was beaten by the gangsters when he was a child, leaving serious psychological shadow in his mind, so when he would be scared when he saw the tattoos.

Morgan didn’t say anything and just walked straight into Dempsey’s place.

Dempsey was forced to move backwards, but he dared not to say anything.

Then Morgan sat on the sofa, staring at the TV, and switched to a channel that he liked.
