I Love You, Miss Genius (Bonnie Shepard and Ivor Knight) novel Chapter 596

This man always radiated dominance in front of outsiders, but now he seemed as childish as a kid.

Seeing Bonnie remain silent, Ivor asked again, "Honey, are you serious? You're not joking with me, right?"

Bonnie raised an eyebrow lightly and said, "Do I look like someone who would joke about such a thing?"

Ivor excitedly lifted Bonnie from her chair and spun around with joy.

Bonnie held onto his shoulders. "Stop spinning. I'm getting dizzy."

Ivor exclaimed, "I'll call Grandpa right away to choose a date for us."

He quickly brought Sigmund over and informed him of Bonnie's willingness to marry him. Sigmund was also delighted and immediately took out a calendar to look for a good wedding date.

"The most suitable time for the wedding is early next year."

Ivor became anxious immediately. "Early next year? That's still several months away. Aren't there any sooner dates?"

"A wedding is a major event. It can't be rushed." Seeing Ivor's impatient look, Sigmund teased, "Back then, when I arranged this marriage for you, you were completely unwilling. Now, you're in a hurry."

Ivor replied confidently, "That was then, and this is now."

He then turned to Bonnie, took her hand, and said, "Honey, Grandpa said we have to wait until early next year. Are you not anxious? I'm sure you're very anxious, right? How about we get married today? We can have a simple wedding ceremony tonight."

Bonnie replied, "Didn't you say you wanted to prepare a grand wedding? It's already evening. Are you sure you want to rush into marriage like this?"

Ivor looked crestfallen and pleaded with her, "Well then, during this time, please don't run away."

Upon hearing this, Bonnie's expression turned stern. "Ivor, what do you think of me? If I agree to marry you, I will be wholeheartedly devoted to you. But there's no point in getting married if you don't trust me, even on the most basic level."

Ivor immediately became nervous and apologized, "Honey, I'm sorry. Please don't be angry."
