Toby scratched his head and said, “Being your assistant is a genuine honor, Ms. Bonita.”

Bonnie raised her brows at him. “Don’t you think you’re overdoing it with the flattery today?”

Toby chuckled. “It isn’t flattery if it’s genuine, right?”

Bonnie smiled helplessly and waved. “You realize you made a mistake in your experiment procedure today, right? Go and redo it. Don’t repeat the same mistake, okay?”

“Okay, I’ll do that right away.” Toby nodded and left Bonnie’s office.

Pyralis University’s students would be shocked if they saw Toby behaving so sheepishly. After all, Toby, the campus hottie, was typically quiet and reserved. He would never flatter anyone, but he showed that side of him to Bonnie.
