Chapter 16 Mester Manor

The old house of the Collins family had been abandoned for years.

There were cobwebs everywhere.

"It's all Chris's fault, or we wouldn't have to live in such a poor place."

Susan said angrily.

"You should ask your father when we can go back to Jefferson Manor."

John kept silent all the time. Susan couldn't help urging John to beg his father.

John shook his head and sighed, "He won't agree. He will never allow us back since he has expelled us."

Susan cried and cursed, "Chris Shelby, you bastard! You made us suffer like this!"

Chris said unhappily, "Mom, you should trust me."
