Reborn to Revenge novel Chapter 11

At 4: 00 a.m., Arthur woke up.

Hearing the steady breathing, he looked at the woman beside him who had fallen asleep peacefully. Her long hair was soft and the quilt even almost covered her chin. She was quiet just like a lovely cat.

Now it seemed that she didn't have a glib tongue as she did in the day but she was so gentle and peaceful, which made him feel much more comfortable.

Arthur's heart, which had been trained to become cold in the army since he was a child, suddenly softened a little.

...

Jocelyn had such a peaceful sleep that she woke up at noon the next day.

She sat up with the quilt till covering her, yawned, and was stunned to see nobody around her.

Did she sleep too sound?

She even didn't perceive that Arthur had got up.

Jocelyn pushed back the quilt and got out of bed. After a random wash, she went downstairs to have breakfast.

As soon as she arrived at the stairway, she heard the voice of Selena who was talking to a servant in the living room on the first floor.

"Did he have any reaction?" Selena deliberately lowered her voice, But it happened that Jocelyn was standing at the diagonal angle of the stairs.

She stretched her neck curiously and looked down, then she was stunned.

It was the maid who wore a slip dress and tore Arthur's underwear last night.

It was interesting.

"I didn't pay attention to it. The young master was reluctant." The maid was obviously nervous and blushed, and she even stuttered, "After that, the young hostess came in, so I didn't go on..."

"There is no need for you to be afraid of her. She is just an ornament in Morrison family. If Arthur can really fall in love with her, why do I ask you to do that?" Selena was a little unhappy.
